Oil on panel, 8 x 10 inches, signed "Carle J. Blenner" lower left. Blenner studied art at Yale and then in Germany and France at the Academie Julian under William Adolphe Bouguereau, Robert Fleury & Aman-Jean. He taught in the fine arts departments at Columbia and Yale.
