This is an interesting original drawing of a european fountain, it is unsigned but certainly reminds one of a number of post impressionist artists. We are unable to tell where this image occurred but it shows many people strolling around the Fountain. It is pencil, charcoal and whiting. The image measures 12X15 inches, drawing on a thin japan type paper tipped to a cardboard backing.

This charcoal drawing by John(Jack)Fenton measures 10 x 14 inches and is pencil signed on the lower right corner. In this image, Fenton depicts local characters gathering at the blacksmith shop to catch up on daily events. Fenton was a native of New York and studied at Columbia University and the New York School of Art. He became a painter, illustrator and teacher with his works exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago.

This is a fine impressionistic drawing of farmers leading their Cow, to market?  We are unsure who the artist was, this image is unsigned.  The style suggests the work of the Woodstock artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi.  This drawing was done with litho crayon and ink.  The sheet measures 7 3/4X12 inches.  Drawn on a thin Japan type sheet.

Wotiz graduated from Brown University and became known for her oils and watercolors of the New England landscape and shoreline. This drawing by Dexter Dawes measures 18 3/4 x 24 3/4 inches. It is signed in the lower right corner. Dawes was born in Englewood, NJ and went on to study at New York City's Art Student League. He summered in Marlboro, NH surrounded by beautiful gardens with views of Mount Monadnock which became the inspiration for many of his drawings and lithographs. He belonged to a number of associations including the National Arts Club.
