This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Kerr Eby. The title of this work is: "A Connecticut Valley", it was created and printed in 1935 in an edition of 100.
The scene shows one of Connecticut's covered bridges in snow. The image measures 7 11/16X15 3/8 inches. It appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 184.
Fine use of skim coating of ink to show the tone of the sky.
This is an original etching by French artist Auguste Lepere. The title of this work is: "La Chaumiere Du Vieux Pecheur", "the thatched house of the old fisherman." this etching was created and printed in 1910 and is editioned as 16/35. The image measures 8 5/8X15 1/4 inches. Pencil signed lower right border, printed on a medium weight laid type paper. Very fine condition. This image is catalog number G-377

This is a very rare pencil signed etching by Sir Francis Seymour Haden; it is an early proof, from before the edition published in Hamerton's 1880 'Etching and Etchers'. The image size is 5 1/2 x 7 7/8 inches, 1877, cat: Schneiderman-161, plate signed and dated, pencil signed, a very rich impression on a laid type paper, framed. Sir Francis Seymour Haden was one of the most important British etchers of the 19th century, along with his brother in law James Whistler. In addition to being a highly regarded artist he was a successful surgeon, accomplished author and dedicated angler. He was a founder and the first president of the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, and was knighted in 1894. Haden created a number of remarkable etchings featuring scenes of fishing in the British countryside, of which this is one of his finest.
Etching with drypoint, image size 8 1/2 x 12 inches, 1926, edition of 100, pencil signed and numbered. Edmund Blampied was a very successful artist and illustrator in early 20th century Britain. He illustrated many books and magazines, but is best known for his remarkable skills as a printmaker. He was an important figure in the 'British Etching Revival' of the early 20th century, and was elected to the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers in 1920.
This is as atmospheric original etching with aquatint by Luigi Kasimir. The image size is 15 7/8 x 22 3/8 inches, c. 1920, cat: Lorenz-24, pencil signed, framed. Kasimir studied at the Vienna Academy of Art, although much of his etching technique was self taught and learned through working from nature. He specialized in atmospheric images of architecture, city scenes and landscapes; some bustling with people and automobiles, others quite timeless and serene. Kasimir developed his own technique, which was much more suited to the particular clarity of his compositions. This technique allowed Kasimir to create extraordinarily rich tones and values with clear, crisp lines; he could masterfully bring a scene to life using subtle hues of grays and earth tones accentuated by bright splashes of saturated color.

Michael Willmann (1630-1706) Three-quarter length portrait of an aged bearded man, gazing downwards,after Rembrandt, etching c. 1660/70, on fine laid paper, 16,5 x 12,8 cm, 6 1/2X5 3/4 inches, copy in reverse after an etching by Rembrandt (B. 260, New Ho. 84). The etching was listed as a work by the Rembrandt-school (Rovinski Elèves 31, Bartsch-Claussin II. 111.31); in New Hollstein the sheet is attributed to Michael Willmann now, who was a collaborator in the studio Rembrandt. Very rare. Thread Margins, two stains in the upper center and right edge, apparently old glue residue.
