This is a very fine impression of the well known Whistler etching, "The Rag Gatherers", created and printed in 1857, this etching is plate signed, on the right side of the image. The image measures 6X3 1/2 inches. It is the fifth state of 5 with the edition of the two children in the interior space. This etching came to us framed with the Kennedy Galleries label on the back. Excellent condition, apparently printed on an antique laid type paper.

Printed on a medium weight laid type paper the image measures 13X7 inches. It was printed in an edition of 198. This is the second state of two. In the lower right corner of the border is a blindstamp from the Howard A Bigelow collection. This image won first prize at the exhibition of the Chicago Society of Etchers. It appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 407.
This is an original oil on canvas painting by American artist Ernest Parton (1845-1933) The painting is titled on a label on the back, "Near Wilford Surrey". Created circa 1890 the painting measures 16X24 inches. Signed lower right and has a label from Toronto Gallery T. Eaton Co. There is also an old label affixed to the back as well. Presented in a period Gold Frame.

Lithograph, image size 13 x 18 1/2 inches, 1949, edition of 30, pencil signed, titled and editioned. Spruance studied in Paris after winning the coveted Cresson Scholarship in 1928 while attending college at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. He studied with Edmond and Jaques Desjobert in Paris before returning to the US and continuing his nearly forty year career as a printmaker.
This is an original serigraph by American artist Will Barnet (1911-2012) This image is hand signed, titled and has the edition as 145/150. The image measures 18X18 inches printed on an arches wove type paper. Barnet was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and, on a scholarship, went to New York to study at the Art Students League. This serigraph is museum matted and framed.
This is an original oil on canvas landscape with cows painting. Created late 19th century this painting is signed lower left: It looks like Neil..? But we are unable to attribute it to a specific artist. We are selling this as Nineteenth Century American School. The painting measures 12X20 inches and came to us in what appears to be the original 19th century gilt frame. The painting is in good shape, one tiny repair in the bottom center of the image.
This is a hand colored line engraving after J.W. Hill, engraved by Charles Mottram and published by Smith Brothers and Co. in New York, 1857. The image measures 24 1/2X38 1/2 inches. Plate signed and dated in the lower margin. " It is one of the loveliest views of Boston and its harbor, with the statehouse dome rising in the center background and the Bunker Hill Monument at far right. Printed by Mc Queen." A very fine impression, framed. It had a couple of very minor touchups, but overall in very nice condition.

It was printed with a combination of etching,aquatint,burnisher and roulette. The image measures 22 1/2X16 1/8 inches. It was printed in an edition of 425 printed on Arches wove type paper with the Ambroise Vollard watermark. This etching is signed within the plate lower left but is not pencil signed which was how this etching was originally sold.

We feel this might be the work of California artist Mary Emma Flood (1900-1987) The painting measures 21X18 inches. Flood was a member of: San Francisco Art Association, 1920-25; CPLH, 1920s; Nat'l Ass'n of Women Painters & Sculptors, 1935-38.
