This lithograph was created and printed in 1932 in an edition of 30, far less were hand colored by the artist. The image measures 8 7/8X11 1/8 inches. Hand signed and titled in pencil in the lower border. Framed.

Frank Benson was a founding member of the Boston Guild of Artists and a long time teacher at the Museum School in Boston. A superb portrait of Brockhurst's first wife Anais, this etching measures 8 3/4 x 6 1/4 inches, published in 1927 in an edition of 111, pencil signed. Born in England and found to be artistically talented at an early age, Gerald Brockhurst was enrolled in the Royal Academy Schools. A scholarship enabled him to study in France and Italy where the work of the great masters, especially Botticelli and da Vinci, had a lasting influenced on him. He became well known for his classically styled portraits etched with a remarkable sense of detail and texture.
This is an original color aquatint etching by Austrian artist Luigi Kasimir. The title of this work is: "Fleet Street,London", circa 1930, one of his best works. The view is of St.Pauls and Ludgate Hill from Fleet Street.
The image measures 21 1/4X17 inches. very nice condition, pencil signed in the lower left border, printed on a wove type paper. It appears in the Kasimir catalog as image number 10.

This is one of the most impressive etchings by American artist Stephen Parrish. It is titled: "A GLOUCESTER WHARF", it was created and printed in 1886. It was one of three plates that Parrish did exclusively in dry point. The image is quite large, measuring 17 7/8X11 7/8 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type hard paper, A beautiful impression with extensive use of plate tone in the sky and sea. Printed with brown ink, fine condition. The Oil,Sounds & Livers advertised on the building are important fisheries products. Sounds are fish air bladders ground up for use in making isinglass. This is an original tempra painting on artist board by German artist Max Feldbauer. This painting, At the Train Station, is identified on the back of the board with labels from both "Karl Schneider in Munchen" and also "Original der Munchner Jugend, Munchen"..The painting appears to be unsigned, but possibly appears to have a faded signature in the lower left. The painting has an image size of 12X18 inches. Nicely Framed.. Very rich colors and in good condition. An interesting post impressionist style circa 1890-1900.
This incredible image by the British etcher, Arthur Briscoe, measures 8 1/8 x 15 3/8 inches, inked signed and numbered, 73/75, created in 1931. Briscoe studied at the Slade Art School and the Academy Julian in Paris and then spent the rest of his time sailing, becoming one of the most prominent British marine artists of the 20th century. He owned his own three ton cutter which he used to sail around the Essex coast. Also crewing on a Polish ship, he sketched every aspect of life on the boat. Most of Briscoe's etchings show sailing ships and the men who sailed them. His beautifully etched images present an invaluable historical record of the workings of the last great commercial vessels.
This is a beautiful sun drenched scene of Havana, Cuba by Scottish artist James McBey. Etching, image size 6 7/8 x 12 7/8 inches, 1940, plate signed and dated, hand signed and numbered "XXXVIII" in ink. Born into poverty McBey was primarily self-taught, becoming a very well respected artist and leading figure of the British Etching Revival. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, America and the Middle East, creating remarkable etchings of the places he visited.
This is an original serigraph by American artist Will Barnet. The title is Reflections, this image was created and printed in 1971. The image is pencil signed, titled and has the edition as 81/225. The image measures 22X14 inches. Barnet was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and, on a scholarship, went to New York to study at the Art Students League.
