Original oil on board painting by American artist Arthur Herrick.  This view of the mountains of New Hampshire measures 20X30 inches.   Unsigned with estate stamp on the back.  This painting came directly from the artist's grand daughter.  It was Herrick's habit to only sign a work when it was sold by him.  This one remained unsigned and unsold  at the time of his death.  Herrick studied in Rockport M.A. under Anthony Thieme and A.T. Hibbard.  He moved to New Hampshire in the 1950's and devoted his talents to Plein Air painting.  He was frequently seen  painting his winter scenes standing out in the snow in Western New Hampshire.

This is a painting by Danish artist Carl Erik Baggoe.  It is a Nocturne study of a sidewheeler and sailing ships by moonlight.  The painting is signed lower left and dated 1877.  The medium is a combination of watercolor, ink and pencil.  Painted on a medium weight stiffened paper.  The painting is blued toned monochromatic, The painting measures 4 5/8X7 inches.  Nicely framed.

This is an original small oil on board painting by American artist Franz Fleig.  Signed lower right this painting has an image size of 4 1/4X5 1/2 inches.  Fleig was a member of the New York Society of Independent artists in 1938.  This painting is framed in what appears to be the period frame that the artist used.
