Harry Sternberg

This is a fine original aquatint etching by American artist Harry Sternberg.  This image is titled: Circus #3 The Wheels, it was created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 30 impressions.  This impression is had signed and titled in pencil ..Very nice condition the image measures 8 7/8X11 7/8 inches. a quote from Sternberg about this work: "“I had never been to a circus when I worked on this series of plates. I invented my own circus as a means of exercising my interest in the human figure in motion through space.”
