Levon West

This is an original drypoint etching by American artist Levon West.  The title is: "The Eagle", it was created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 100.  Printed in a brown toned ink, the image measures 7 7/8X13 1/4 inches.  Fine use of plate tone in the sky.  A fine western scene of two travelers on horseback with an eagle overhead.  This etching is signed, titled and editioned as 92/100 in pencil
