This is an original lithograph created by Japanese American artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi.  The title is Burlesque Queen, it was created and printed in 1936 for the American Artists School in New York City.  It was created in an edition of 100.  The image measures 11 5/8X9 1/2 inches.  This image is plate signed as issued, it is inscribed in pencil lower left "100 prints".  The sheet has the AAS blind stamp in the lower border and with a partial ink stamp on the back of the sheet from the American Artists School.

This is an original lithograph by American artist Kyra Markham.  The title is: In the Wings, created and printed in 1936, a back stage view of the performers on stage.  The image measures 13 1/2X10 inches, pencil signed,dated and titled in the lower border.  A rare image by this well known New York artist.

This is a fine and rare etching by American artist Otto H. Bacher.  The title of this pencil signed impression is: Venice, Shipping and the Ducal Palace, This etching was created and printed in 1880.  Bacher along with a group of pupils of Frank Duveneck followed him to Florance and Venice to be with him for the summer.  It was there that Bacher met and worked with Whistler.  The image measures 4 1/2X 12 3/8 inches.  Printed on an early wove type sheet with a E.E. C. watermark.

A very rare original woodblock print by Latvian- American artist Isac Friedlander The title of this work is "Mother", it was created and printed in 1939, editioned as 5/15. The woodblock print is hand signed, titled and editioned in pencil by the artist. The image measures 10 1/8X8 inches on a 15 1/2X12 1/2 inch wove type medium weight paper. Isac Friedlander (1890-1968) was born in Latvia. In 1912 he went to Italy where he met and worked with Russian artist Maxim Gorky. During this period he also received his only art training, studying etching, drawing and relief printing at the Academy of Rome. In 1937, he emigrated to New York where he worked full time as an artist until his death. He is best known for his woodcuts and etchings, and many museums have works by the artist, including the Smithsonian, Bibliotheque Nationale, and the Brooklyn Museum.

Cameron.  The title of this etching is: Craigievar Castle, It was created and printed in 1908.  The image measures 9 1/2X13 3/4 inches.  It is pencil signed lower right border.  printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Very richly printed.  This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 402.  The thired state of three.  The setting is amoung the scenic rolling foothills of the Grampian Mountains south of Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

This is an original oil on tin painting of a young woman.  It is apparently unsigned and so we are calling this 19th century American School.  The painting measures 8X7 inches, it came to us in a period gilt frame which measures 12 1/2X11 1/2 inches.  Expertly painted, this is a fine example of 19th century American portraiture.

This is a very rare pencil signed impression.  THe original woodblock print by Eric Gill.  Created at "The Miller's Tale" for the Canterbury Tales, published in 1934.  This impression measures approx.9 X 6 1/4 inches.  Hand signed in pencil "Eric G" lower right and numbered in pencil as 2/10 upper left.  This wood engraving is nicely framed with archival materials.
