This is a very fine original 19th Century painting in the style of Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek (1807-1868). Oil on panel, 7 1/4 x 8 7/8 inches, c. 1850, unsigned, in an ornate period gilt frame. Although this painting is unsigned, the style and subject are very reminiscent of the work of Dutch artist Marinus Adrianus Koekkoek, who was known for his delicately painted atmospheric landscapes.
A verdant New England landscape by Massachusetts artist Edward Burrill, oil on canvas, 9 x 12 inches, 1885, signed and dated in the lower left corner, framed. Edward Burrill was a Northshore artist known for his landscapes and coastal scenes. He worked out of a Boston studio for a time but was primarily based in Lynn, MA, and knew many of the important artists of the day, including John J. Enneking, Winslow Homer and Joseph Cole. He exhibited his work regularly at the Boston Art Club for many years, also showing his work at the Silas Barton Gallery and the Lynn Art Club.
Ink and wash, image size 9 3/4 x 13 7/8 inches, inscribed on reverse "J. Bosch 1773 in de manier van N. Berchem met stoffazie na A.v.d.Velde" (In the manner of Nicolae Berchem [Dutch, 1620-1683] and Adriaen van de Velde [Dutch, 1636-1672]), framed.
This is an original etching by American artist Leonard Baskin. It is a portrait of Hercules Seghers, the Dutch old master painter. This portrait was created and printed in 1962. It appears in the Fern-OSullivan catalog as image number 432. The image measures 17 3/4X14 1/2 inches. Printed in two colors. It is pencil signed and editioned as 1of 12 in roman numerals. Beautifully framed with archival materials.
This is an original serigraph by American artist Will Barnet (1911-2012) This image is hand signed, titled and has the edition as 145/150. The image measures 18X18 inches printed on an arches wove type paper. Barnet was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and, on a scholarship, went to New York to study at the Art Students League. This serigraph is museum matted and framed.
Lithograph, image size 13 x 18 1/2 inches, 1949, edition of 30, pencil signed, titled and editioned. Spruance studied in Paris after winning the coveted Cresson Scholarship in 1928 while attending college at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. He studied with Edmond and Jaques Desjobert in Paris before returning to the US and continuing his nearly forty year career as a printmaker.
This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Sir William Russell Flint. The title is : Gleaming Sands, created and printed circa 1930. The image measures 13 3/8X8 5/8 inches. Hand signed in sepia ink, editioned as XXVII. A rich impressin, nice use of plate tone in the sand and sky.

We feel this might be the work of California artist Mary Emma Flood (1900-1987) The painting measures 21X18 inches. Flood was a member of: San Francisco Art Association, 1920-25; CPLH, 1920s; Nat'l Ass'n of Women Painters & Sculptors, 1935-38.
This is a very fine impression of the well known Whistler etching, "The Rag Gatherers", created and printed in 1857, this etching is plate signed, on the right side of the image. The image measures 6X3 1/2 inches. It is the fifth state of 5 with the edition of the two children in the interior space. This etching came to us framed with the Kennedy Galleries label on the back. Excellent condition, apparently printed on an antique laid type paper.

This etching is according to the Glascow catalog is image 2 a. This etching appears in the Kennedy catalog as image number 55. A rich impression printed on a medium weight laid type paper. The subject is: M. Drouet, the French sculptor.' This etching came with the original label from print dealer Frederick Keppel.
This is an oil on artist's board by American artist George A Hays. This scene of 4 cows resting on a summers day has an image size of 8X10 inches, signed lower left. This painting has an early label from Providence Art Club on the back. Also the date of 20 written on the back. Hays was best known for his Lanscapes with cattle. He lived in New Hampshire and later in Providence RI. He was a member of the Providence Art Club, where he exhibited from 1888 to 1940; Society for Independent Artists, Copley Society, and Providence Watercolor Club.

This is an original oil on canvas landscape with cows painting. Created late 19th century this painting is signed lower left: It looks like Neil..? But we are unable to attribute it to a specific artist. We are selling this as Nineteenth Century American School. The painting measures 12X20 inches and came to us in what appears to be the original 19th century gilt frame. The painting is in good shape, one tiny repair in the bottom center of the image.
