Color aquatint and drypoint etching C. 1905. Edition of 100. Signed in orange crayon in the lower right. Plate measures 13 x 11 inches in a 23 1/4 x 20 1/5 inch gold frame. A fine impression. Catalog: Merrill Chase 125. Provenance Merrill Chase galleries, according to a label on the back. Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and the Ecole des Beaux Artes, becoming a master of the aquatint medium. He developed much of his own aquatint techniques, which enabled him to create his uniquely painterly, richly colored images.

This is a fine expressive drypoint etching by British artist Sir William Russell Flint.  The title is: Clatter and Whirl, Granada, it was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 75.  This image is hand signed, with sepia ink, numbered as XV and inscribed as using An antique laid type sheet from 1744, "D.R."  The image measures 8 1/4X13 7/8 inches, printed with a brown toned ink, a very rich impression.

This is an original etching by British artist James McBey.  It is titled: Manhattan, a view of the Bridges of New York.  Hand signed in ink lower right and editioned as XXVI in the lower left border.  This etching was created and printed in March 1930.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

A large drypoint etching by Sir Frank Brangwyn. Plate measures 19 x 20 3/4 inches in a 26 3/4 x 28 inch frame. The plate was etched on the spot. C 1906. Catalog: FASL 65. A somber and well inked print with a rich drypoint burr. A rare print!

This is a fine original drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Y. Cameron.  The title of this etching is: Craigievar Castle, It was created and printed in 1908.  The image measures 9 1/2X13 3/4 inches.  It is pencil signed lower right border.  printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Very richly printed.  This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 402.  The thired state of three.  The setting is amoung the scenic rolling foothills of the Grampian Mountains south of Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

This is an original etching by British artist James McBey.  The title is: Laguna Veneta, it was created and printed in 1924.  The image measures 7X147/8 inches.   Hand signed in sepia ink, Numbered lower left XX.  Fine use of plate tone in the sea and sky.  Printed on an antique laid type paper.  This image appears in the Salaman catalog as image number 73.  Last sold by M. Knoedler and Co in New York.

Drypoint from 1932. Signed in ink below the image. Inscription in lower right reads: "Impression selected for my friend Harold Bailey - E. Blampied" 1/100. Plate size measures 8 3/8 x 11 7/8 on 11 1/2 x 17 1/4 inch laid type paper. A richly inked, atmospheric print.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Maurice de Vlaminck (1876-1958)  The title of this etching is: Village de Louvillers-les-Perches.  It was created and printed in 1926 in an edition of 75.  The image measures 8 3/4X12 5/8 inches.  This etching is hand signed in pencil by the artist and published by Marcel Guiot, Paris.  This town is located in the Loire Valley.  This etching is nicely framed with archival materials.

Etching & dry-point, image size 9 1/4 x 9 inches, circa 1930, Subsequent to Hardie, pencil signed

This is an original soft ground etching and aquatint by Austrian artist Tavik F. Simon.  The scene is: The Kiosks on the Grand Boulevards, in Paris.  This etching was created and printed in 1926 in an edition of 200, published by G. Petit, Paris.  The image appears in the Novak catalog as image number N.123.  The image measures 13 3/4X16 3/4 inches.  This etching is in the early frame with french matting.  Pencil signed lower right and numbered 6 of the edition.

This is an original etching and aquatint by French modernist Georges Rouault.  The title is: Incantation from Le Reincarnations du Pere Ubu, This was the frontispiece The first etching from the series  Le Reincarnations du Pere Ubu, created and printed in 1928.  This is a rare hand signed impression.  An edition of 225.  The image measures 11 3/4X7 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium wight wove type paper.

This is a fine portrait etching by European artist Anders Zorn.  This pencil signed etching titled Guill II was created and printed in 1918.  The image measures 7 3/4X5 3/4 .  This pencil signed impression .  This image appears in the zorn catalog as image number 165.  This etching is in beautiful condition.
