Amazons on a Breton Beach

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Sir William Russell Flint.  The title is: Amazons on a Breton Beach, it was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 76.  This one is editioned as number XXVII from that edition.  The image measures 8X13 1/4inches, printed in an sepia toned ink, hand signed with pen and ink in the lower border.  Nice use of plate tone in the sky and sand.  Illustrated: Salaman, Modern Masters of Etching.
