20th Century American Prints

Etching of the largest public garden in London, Lincoln's Inn Fields, measures 9 7/8 x 7 7/8 inches, 1933, plate signed and titled in pencil.

This is an original etching by American artist Agnes Fernbach.  The title is, "The Harbor, Gloucester MA.  It was created and printed circa 1930.  The image measures 4 1/2X7 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Pencil signed lower right and titled in the lower left border.

This etching of the Danish container ship, Chastine Maersk measures 7 1/2 x 11 3/4 inches, 1936, pencil signed.

This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist Edward S. Hewitt.  This view of trees on the Coast is pencil signed and has an image size of 8 7/8X6 inches.  Printed on a thin Japan type sheet,

This is an original etching by American artist Edwin Kaufman.  It is titled: "Night Brooklyn", pencil signed and titled in the lower margin.  The image measures 5 X 6 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

A very fine wood engraving by Barry Moser, this image measures 4 7/8 x 3 1/2 inches, 1978, pencil signed.

This is an original block print by Wisconsin artist Edward Boerner.  The title is written in pencil, The Farm, it was created and printed in 1940.  The image measures 5X4 inches.  Pencil signed lower right.  This also came with a card by the artist which describes this as: "Our family homestead at Cedarsburg, 1847.

A beautiful 1933 etching by Hopper Emory measuring 7 x 10 3/4 inches and is pencil signed and titled. Hopper Emory was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had a successful career in banking before he turned exclusively to his artwork. He traveled to England where he studied at the Heatherly School of Art in London, then returned to Maryland where he became known for his delicately rendered architectural and maritime etchings.

A beautiful light filled etching by Wilfred A. Readio. It measures 7 5/8 x 13 inches, plate initialed and titled. Readio was a painter, lithographer and educator, known for his scenes of Pittsburgh, PA. and the American West. He was also a Professor of Art at the Carnegie Institute of the Arts.

This is an original wood engraving of William Morris by American artist Leonard Baskin.  This image was created and printed in 1960 as a series of six portraits published by Peregrin Press in CA.  The image measures 4X3 inches, on a large sheet of hand made mulberry paper.  This image is pencil signed and editioned as CIX/CCLXXV.  

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by Maine artist James Elliott.  The title is: Old Quarry Wharf.  Created and printed circa 1960.  The image measures 15X12 3/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.
