This etching by Joseph Margulies measures 8 3/4 x 6 7/8 inches. It is printed on a medium wove paper, pencil signed by the artist on the lower right margin and has an AAA galleries card. Margulies was a student of Joseph Pennell and went on to study at the National Academy of Design and the Arts Student League of New York. He studied abroad in Paris and Vienna. His etchings are in many collections including the Metropolitan Museum, the Brooklyn Museum and the Smithsonian.

This is an etching with aquatint of a fine Harbor scene.  It was created and printed in 1932 although the artist is a mystery to us.  It is pencil signed and dated but we cannot make out who the artist is.  The image measures 8X10 inches and has the title of "Boats" in the lower left border.  A very fine image.

This is an original lithograph by American artist Helen Noel.  The subject is from a series she did of life in the School Room.  This image is plate signed lower right.  The image measures 11 1/4X10 inches. Helen Noel was employed in Chicago's District 10 Art Division of the Works Progress Administration WPA Federal Art Works Program.

This wood engraving by Barry Moser is one of 25 from his "Gold Rush" series. Published in 1985 in an edition of 350, it measures 4 x 7 inches and is pencil signed by the artist on the lower margin. This series portrayed gold mining activities from America, Africa and Australia. Moser, from Tennessee, became a graphic artist and printmaker studying under Leonard Baskin and Jack Coughlin. In 1990 he became the "head of studio art" at the Rhode Island School of Design and his prints have been exhibited at the Berkshire Museum, the Los Angeles National Print Show and the Library of Congress National Print Exhibit. Moser states in his description of the images in this series of the "consumate dilemma" between the mining and the owning of gold, the high price politically, physically and spiritually that these men and their families paid for their dreams of a better life.
