Etching, image size 7 3/4 x 11 1/4 inches, 1931, pencil signed l.r. "George C. Wales", plate inscribed l.l. "Rum and Bibles for the West Coast of Africa G.C.W. 1931". Wales was born in Boston in 1868. He studied architecture at MIT and after graduation worked at a prominent firm in the Boston area eventually opening his own. It was only when he was nearing fifty that he became interested in the art of etching. His first exhibit was in 1921, by 1923 he had "mastered" the lithography process and in 1927 Wales published a book on etchings of American ships.

This is an original Chiaroscuro wood block print by American artist Morris Gordon.  This image was created and printed in 1937, printed in green and black ink.  As with most of his original prints, he signed it in pencil on the window mat.  The image measures 7X5 inches, in very fine condition.

This fine 1912 etching by Sears Gallagher measures 5 3/4 x 12 1/4 inches. It is pencil signed on the lower left margin. Born in Boston, Gallagher studied drawing and watercolor locally, later refining his skills at the Academie Julian in Paris. Gallagher became one of America's leading etchers and watercolorists, known for his New England landscapes, historic Boston landmarks as well as views of New York, Venice and England's Cornish seacoast.

This is an original pencil signed and titled lithograph by American artist Victoria Hutson Huntley.  The title is: Cypress Swamp, South Carolina  it was created and printed in 1948.  The image measures 9X15 1/2 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Some thinning to the sheet at the edges well away from the image area.

This is an original etching by American artist Troy Kinney (1871-1938)  The title of this work is "Arcadia", it was created and printed in an edition of 170.  This pencil signed etching is inscribed as Trial Proof, one of 18 before the edition.  This etching appears in the Kinney catalog as image number 33.  The etching measures 6 3/4X7 3/4 inches.  Very nice condition, matted not framed.

This wood engraving by Barry Moser is one of 25 prints from his "Gold Rush" series. Published in 1985 in an edition of 350, it measures 4 x 7 inches and is pencil signed by the artist on the lower margin. The "Gold Rush" series were images portraying gold mining activities from America, Africa and Australia. Moser, from Tennessee, became a graphic artist and printmaker, studying under Leonard Baskin and Jack Coughlin.
