This is an original etching by Czech artist Emil Orlik.  The title is: Arab Story Teller, Arabischer  Marchenerzahler, created and printed in 1912.  This pencil signed impression measures 9 3/4X7 1/4 inches.  cataloged as Glockner 29.  This etching is currently framed.  The image was created using a combination of etching with Roulette for the shadows.

This is an original etching by Czech artist Emil Orlik.   The title is: Bei Enoshima, created and printed in 1901.  One of a series of images he created on a trip to Japan.  This image of Rural life in Japan is penil signed by the artist.  The image measures 3 3/4X5 1/4 inches.  Printed on a laid type sheet.  This etching is framed.

This is a fine original etching by German artist Ferdinand Schmutzer.  The title is: Die Unterhaltung (The Conversation) it was created and printed in 1897.  Hand signed in pencil lower border and also signed and dated within the plate.  The image measures 9 1/4X7 5/8 inches.  This etching is in an early frame.

This is an early impression of the  well known Bullfighting series  titled La Tauromaquia by Spanish artist Francisco Goya.  This image is plate 5 fro the series and is titled: The Courageous Moor, Gazul, Was the first to Fight Bullls.  El animoso moro gazul es el priero que lanceo toros en regla.  the platemark measures 9 3/4X14 inches on a sheet size of 13X17 1/4 inches.  Although  this is an early impression on medium weight laid type paper there is no plate number in the upper corner of the sheet.  A bit of a mystery!  A rich and detailed impression.

This is an original etching and drypoint by Scottish artist Johnstone Baird.  The title is On The Dee, it was last sold by Kennedy Galleries in New York, circa 1920.  The image measures 5X11 3/4 inches.  Hand signed in pencil.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Daniel Putnam Brinley 1879-1963.  This image is a view of Assisi that he created on a European trip he took in the 1920's.  This image is hand signed in pencil, and has an image size of 14X10 7/8 inches.Brinley was a MacDowell Colony Fellow and exhibited at the Stieglitz gallery in New York City.  The image is numbered lower left 12.

This is a fine large etching by French artist Alphonse Legros.  The title is; Le Retour du Bois (Return from the Woods), Created circa 1880's.  This was part of his series known as Death and the Wood cutter.  This pencil signed impression measures 9 1/4X14 inches.  Legros was a well known founder of the etching revival in France.  This is one of his largest compositions.  This image is in the collections of many museums through out the world.  The catalog listing is Bliss 565.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper with partial watermark.

This is an original etching by French artist Felix Buhot, the title is Les Voisins de Campagne (Country Neighbors)  This unsigned proof has an image size of 7 3/8X9 5/8 inches.  This impression was created and printed in 1879.

This is an original etching by American artist Jack Coughlin.  The title is Owl in Flight II.  Created and printed circa 1970.  This etching is hand signed in pencil, titled and inscribed as artists proof.  The image measures 14 3/4X10 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight watermarked B.F.K. sheet.  A rich impression in very fine condition.

This is an original color etching by American artist Dorsey Potter Tyson.  The title is Siamese Dancers, created and printed in 1928 in an edition of 100.  This impression is numbered as XXVIII.  It is also hand signed in pencil. The image measures 8X9 7/8 inches.  It came to us in the original frame from Casson Galleries in Boston.  

This is an original color etching by American artist Dorsey Potter Tyson.  The title is: Gossip, created and printed in 1928,  This image is hand signed in pencil and numbered as XXXVIII lower left, also indicated that he printed this impression himself.  The image measure 8 1/2X9 1/2 inches.  It was framed and sold by The Casson Galleries in Boston, dated 1929.

THis is a fine color aquatint etching by French artist Louis Icart.  The title is: La robe de chine,( The Silk Robe) created and printed in  1926, published by Les Graveurs Modernes, 194 rue de Rivoli, Paris.  The image measures 15X18 1/4 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower right also with the windmill blindstamp and copyright information in the upper left corner.  Very rich color remains, nice condition..This image appears in the Holland catalog as number 276.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist James Allen.  The title is: The Builders, it was created and printed in 1932 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 9 3/4X11 3/4 inches.  Very fine condition apart from a couple of old glue spots  on the back of the sheet, This etching looks great... The image appears in the Reese book, "American  Prize Prints".  This etching is in the Ryan catalog as image number 62.  One of Allen's most important etchings.  This etching is nicely framed with archival materials.

This is an original pencil signed mezzotint by American artist Allesandro Mastro-Valerio.  This study of two bathers at the ocean has an image size of 7X6 3/4 inches.  Numbered as 20/35.  A scarce image by this well known artist and master of the modern mezzotint.  Printed on a heavy weight wove type sheet.  He was a member of the Chicago Society of Etchers,  He is best known for his mezzotint* prints, particularly his female nudes.  His work helped to revive mezzotint as an artistic medium in the United States.

THis is an original mezzotint by American artist Reynold Weidenaar.  The title is Cathedral Repairs, Mexico City.  This image was created and printed in 1949 and was the presentation print of The Printmakers Society of California.  The original information sheet is included.  The image measures 9X7 inches, hand signed in pencil and printed on an Arches watermarked medium weight sheet.
