Print measures 9 1/4 x 9 7/8 inches on 9 3/4 x 10 1/4 inch paper. Red publisher's seal in the lower right corner. In Japan, the carp is the personification of perseverance and the will to win. Swimming pairs of carp are considered a symbol of marriage.
This is a pair of 20th century Japanese woodblock prints, both printed on a crape type crinkled handmade paper.
Both sheets measure 14 3/4 X 11 1/4 inches. It has the Japanese Chop in the lower right but the artist remains a mystery to us.
This is an original color woodblock print, 20th century Japanese. The image with two ducks in a pond has an image size of " 10 1/2X14 inches. Signed in the plate upper right, "Hack" We are unsure who the artist was, printed circa 1940's. Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.
