This is an original drybrush drawing on illustration board by American artist Stow Wengenroth. This drawing was done as a study for his lithograph, Rock Shadows, created and printed in 1970. This work done on a Strathmore Illustration board is signed in ink lower right corner, the image measures 13X23 inches. Very nice condition. The lithograph Rock Shadows appears in the Stuckey catalog as image number 332. It was done in Rockport Mass and finished in Greenport N.Y. According to the catalog description this was drawn from the Edge of an old quarry in Rockport. This was a gift from the artist to the former owner who sold it to our gallery...This drawing is archivally framed.

This is an original watercolor painting by American artist Chester Russell Loomis. This 19th century painting of sailboats at sunrise has a site size of 5X10 3/4 inches. It is housed in what appears to be the original gold frame with gilt matting. The frame measures 10 X15 3/4 inches. The painting is hand signed C.R. Loomis lower right corner. A few very light foxing marks, unobtrusive. The work looks very fine just as it now appears.
