This is a very fine impressionistic portrait of the Ballet Dancer Carrina Ari (1897-1970)  This etching was created and printed by German artist Ernest Oppler.  The image circa 1920 is pencil signed and numbered 79/120.  The image measures 9 3/8X6 inchesm printed on a laid type sheet, medium weight.  Oppler was a well known artist whose main subjects were the Ballet, Modern Dance and the Stage.

This is a fine pencil signed etching by American artist Chauncey Ryder.  This scarce etching is titled: Sugar House, Jeffersonville, New Hampshire,created circa .1940.  This etching measures 9X11 3/4 inches, Inscribed to Kitty McWilliams lower left border.  Good condition apart from repairs to the upper corners of the sheet, well away from the image area.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Leonard Baskin.  This image measures 17 3/8X11 3/4 inches.  Printed on a wove type sheet.  A committed figurative artist, and the son and brother of rabbis, Baskin's work often focused on mortality, Judaism, the Holocaust and other angst-ridden themes.  This etching done on a thick wove type sheet has 4 spots of old glue residue in the corners of the sheet, well outside the image area.

This is an original 3 color wood engraving by American artist Rudolph Ruzicka.  This pencil signed impression is titled: The Mary Celeste, created and printed circa 1930.  This wood engraving came to us in the original folder with information sheet.  This impression was printed by the artist himself.  The image measures 5X7 inches.  The Mary Celeste was abandoned at sea between the Azores and the coast of Portugal, this image shows her as first sighted by the Dei Gratia on the 4th of December 1872.
