This is an original lithograph by American artist Lawrence Beall Smith. The title of this image is "At the Institute", it was created in 1940. This etching was most likely taken from a scene near the artist's home in Connecticut. The artist used platetone to show the sky. His signature has the "imp" after his name, meaning that he printed this proof himself in his studio.
