This is an original wood engraving by American artist John P. Heins.  The title is: "Venetian Still Life"  The image measures 6 1/16X4 7/16 inches.  It is signed in pencil lower right border.  This image done circa 1930 is nicely framed with archival materials.

This is a fine modernist wood engraving by American artist John P. Heins (1896-1969)  This wood engraving was created and printed 1936 in an edition of about 28, created for the WPA in NYC.  The image measures 5 7/8X7 3/4 inches.  This is a rare unstamped proof purchased from the artist's estate.
