Published by Associated American Artists in New York,  in 1937; in edition of 250.  Painter, portrait painter, caricaturist, illustrator, lithographer, writer, art educator. Peggy Bacon studied with John Sloan and Kenneth Hayes Miller.

This is a fine original etching by American artist Chester Price.  The title is: The Municipal Building, created and printed  Circa 1930.  The image measures 12X8 inches.  Hand signed by the artist  in pencil.  One impression of this image is in the Smithsonian Museum.

This is an original pencil signed etching by British artist Symour Haden.  The title is: The Island Opposite Boyle's Farm, created and printed in 1869.  The image measures 6 7/8X9 7/8 inches.  Catalog: Schneiderman 126.  This is the forth state of five.  "This island, Boyle Farm Island, is the second largest of three islands in the Thames River. It contains a single house, home to just one family. It is directly opposite the historic mansion of Boyle Farm, which is now known as the Home of Compassion in Thames Ditton in the Elmbridge borough of Surrey, England." (Annex)

This is an original pencil signed wood engraving by American artist Thomas Nason.  This image is titled: The Sheepfold it was created in 1947 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 3 1/8X7 1/2 inches.  Nicely Framed.  This image appears in the BPL catalog as image number 421.

This is a beautifully energetic original etching with drypoint by French artist Hermine David. The image size is 9 7/8 x 8 1/8 inches, published in 1927 in a small edition of 40, pencil signed and numbered. A rich impression on a medium weight watermarked wove type paper. Hermine David was born and raised in Paris and at the age of 16 was accepted into the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, later going on the study at the Academy Julien. She was a well known painter and printmaker and was very active in the thriving artist community in Paris in the early 20th century. She was married to fellow artist Jules Pascin for several years, but in 1920 the couple divorced and David set up her own studio in Montparnasse. She went on to have a long successful career as an artist and illustrator and was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1932.
