This is a fine portrait of Beethoven by American artist Isac Friedlander.  Created and printed in 1941, hand signed and titled in pencil.  The image measures 10X9 inches, printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is a fine original pencil signed etching by American artist Ernest Roth.  The title inscribed in the plate: "The Little Bridge, Chartres", created and printed in 1944.  The image measures 10X9 1/2 inches.  Nicely frame with archival boards.

Engraving, after Raphael;4th state w/ coat of arms erased - center lower edge - and traces of the erasure.

C. 1932. Initialed and dated on stone in the lower right, pencil signed in the lower right. Edition of 55. Catalog: Barker 122. Plate measures 8 3/4 x 7 1/2 on 14 x 11 1/2 inch watermarked wove type paper. The dark outline of the barn, with its modernistic texture and shadows, contrasts with the luminous winter sky. One of Barker's best prints.

This is an original etching by American artist Joseph Pennell. The title of this work is: "Royal Windsor". It was created and printed in 1903 in an edition of 35. The image measures 6X11 inches, printed on a thin laid type paper, some finger prints from the printing in the borders and on the back of the sheet. Pencil signed in the lower border. This image appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 279.

This is an original etching by American Rural artist John E. Costigan.  This image is titled in pencil "Workers of the Soil", created and printed in 1932 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 8 1/4X13 3/4 inches, printed on a wove type sheet, hand signed in pencil.  Very fine condition.  Costigan spent 50 years working as a working farmer.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Leonard Baskin.  This image measures 17 3/8X11 3/4 inches.  Printed on a wove type sheet.  A committed figurative artist, and the son and brother of rabbis, Baskin's work often focused on mortality, Judaism, the Holocaust and other angst-ridden themes.  This etching done on a thick wove type sheet has 4 spots of old glue residue in the corners of the sheet, well outside the image area.

A wood engraving from 1940. Numbered 8 out an edition of 12. Pencil signed and dated in the lower right. Pencil titled and editioned in the lower left. Plate measures 8 x 10 inches on 10 1/2 x 12 inch thin laid paper.

Drypoint from 1929. Plate size 8½ x 11-3/8 inches on 16 1/2 x 13 3/4 inch laid type paper. Editioned in pencil in the lower left, signed in the lower right. Edition of 75. The subject is the artist's wife, Katherine Sloman Heintzelman. Catalog: Smith 142.

Etching image size 11 7/8 x 9 3/8 inches, plate signed lower left, Vivares founded an engravers school, member of the Society of Artists he exhibited in 1766 and 1768. His reproductions of Claude de Lorrain were widely appreciated.

This is a fine  pencil signed etching by American artist Edith Penman (1860-1929)  The title is Landscape, thought to be the Orchard at St. John's College, created and printed in 1888.  This etching has an image size 3 1/4X4 7/8 inches.  Printed on Japanese vellum paper.  Another impression of this etching is in the collection of The Parrish Art Museum in Southampton.  Nicely framed with archival matting.

This is an original pencil signed etching and drypoint by American artist William Bicknell.  This view of the Provincetown Dunes was created and printed in 1927,  The image measures 7X9 3/4 inches, printed on a wove type sheet with a floral watermark.  "Known locally as 'The Etcher' William Bicknell's Provincetown prints have become part of the town's historical record.   Works in the gallery include a view of the first Provincetown Playhouse (at Race Point), portraits of artists at work on the dunes".

Etching by Nicolas Mignard after the frescoes of Annibale Carracci depicting scenes from Homer's Odyssey. Plate size 11 3/4 x 13 5/8 inches, published by Pierre Mariette in 1637, with lettering in Latin below the image. Printed on a very early watermarked laid type paper.
