This is a very fine original mezzotint by American artist Reynold Weidenaar. The title of this work is "Grain Threshers, Old Mexico" It was created and printed in 1948 as the presentation print for the Print Club of Albany. The image measures 10X15 inches, it is pencil signed and titled by the artist. Absolutely Perfect condition, along with the information sheet from the PCA....This scene was observed by Weidenaar in 1944 when he was traveling in Mexico. "It was a threshing scene and several draft horses were being employed to trample the shocks of wheat.. to me it remains one of the most unusual and lovely sights I have ever seen anywhere".
