Created and printed circa 1790, this engraving has an image size of 12 1/4X9 3/4 inches with a plate size of 15 3/4X10 3/4 inches, on a early laid paper which measures 21X15 1/4 inches...This is a period 18th century printing.
This is a period printing of a Battle Scene from the Thirty Years War, engraved and printed in 1762 By William Baillie. Initialed and dated in the lower left corner of the border. 1/8 inch margins on three sides, some tears at the right edge of the sheet. The image measures 8 1/8X 13 7/8 inches. Printed on an early laid type sheet.
