This is an origiinal etching by American artist Harold Denison. The title is: Hauling the Milk, created and printed in 1936, published by American Artists Group. This is a rare pencil signed impression. The image measures 10X11 3/4 inches.

Printed in an edition of 100, on medium weight paper with wide margins, it is plate signed and also pencil signed, title and numbered on the lower margin. A very atmospheric image created by Taylors' placement of a richly inked wooded foreground illuminated by the light filtering through the trees in the background.

This is a fine original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Gordon H. Grant. The title is Home Port, created and printed in 1940, published by Associated American Artists in New York. The edition was 232. The image measures 9X11 1/2 inches. Clearly signed lower border, beautiful condition.
Gordon Hope Grant was born in San Francisco and educated in Scotland. After Scotland Hope studied at the Heatherly and Lambeth Art School in London and returned to San Francisco where he worked as an illustrator for local newspapers until 1896, when he moved to New York as an illustrator.
Later in life Grant lived on Rocky Neck, Gloucester, MA for 20 years. Here he focused on the harbor and its surroundings for much of his work.
A member of numerous professional societies, his work is held in important collections nationwide, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
