Drypoint etching C. 1927. Plate measures 6 7/8 x 9 on 9 x 12 1/4 inch watermarked David Strang paper. Catalog: Appleby 121. Edition of 100. Illustrated: Fine Prints of the Year, 1927. Numbered 63 out of 100 in the lower left in pencil, pencil signed in the lower right. Plate signed and dated in the lower right. A rich impression with drypoint burr.

This is a scarce etching with drypoint by French artist Auguste Lepere.  The title is Sous Bois, a la Rigonette (Vendee) This image was created and printed in an edition of only 35 prior to the plate being cut down for the later more common edition.  The image measures 7 3/4X10 1/2 inches.  The etching is hand signed in pencil and numbered as 7/35.  Printed on a thin antique laid paper.  This image appears in the Texier catalog as image number 386 ii/iii.

This is an original etching by Belgium artist Jules DeBruycker.  It is titled Ruelle Gand.  It was created and printed in 1906.  Hand signed and titled in pencil.  The image measures 13 1/2X5 1/2 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Van Gelder watermark.

Colored etching C. 1928. Catalog: Novak 483, Baker 266. Edition of 350. Published by the Societe de Graveurs Modernes, Paris. Pencil editioned in the lower left, signed in the lower right. Plate monogrammed in the bottom center. Numbered 227. Plate measures 12 5/8 x 15 inches on 18 1/2 x 19 1/2 inch wove type paper. An atmospheric print with lovely, muted colors. T. F. Simon was born in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and traveled extensively throughout Europe, as well as Asia and the U.S. He lived in Paris from 1905-1913, then returned to Prague to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts. Simon was an exceptional painter and printmaker, and is best known for his atmospheric color etchings and aquatints.

This is an original etching by French artist Auguste Louis Lepere.  The title is: La Mare de la Prairie, Crèvecoeur, it was created and printed in 1913.  This appears to be an earlier state.  The image measures 6X10 inches.  It has the edition as 27/35.  This etching is hand signed in pencil lower right, printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  THis image appears in the Saunier catalog as image number 404.

This is an original pencil signed engraving by Argentinian artist Hemilce Saforcada. The image measures 18X11 1/4 inches.  This image is numbered as 2/5.  Later appears in the book Portrait of Latin America as seen by her print makers, 1946.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  On the back is a collector stamp "Zorin Collection"

A richly inked drypoint etching from 1926. Catalog reference: Gaunt 325. Edition of 53. Pencil signed in the lower right. Plate measures 11 3/4 x 16 3/4 inches on 18 1/4 x 23 1/2 inch wove type paper. Sir Frank Brangwyn was one of the most important British artists of the early 20th century. A member of the Royal Academy, the Royal Watercolor Society, and the Royal Society of British Artists, he was knighted in 1924.

Etching with drypoint, image size 4 1/8 x 12 3/4 inches, 1922, pencil signed.

This is a fine etching and drypoint by Scottish artist David Muirhead Bone.  The title is: Shrimp Boats, Great Yarmouth.  It was created and printed in 1935 in an edition of 92.  Pencil signed lower right, the image measures 7 1/16X11 13/16  inches.  This image appears in the Dodgson catalog as image number 464.  This etching is framed with archival materials.

This is a fine color aquatint by French artist Bernard Boutet de Monvel ..  It is titled Fillette a L'Ombrelle, created and printed in 1910.  The image measures 10 3/4X6 7/8 inches.  Signed in block letters in pencil lower right border.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Numbered as 3/10.
