This is an original hand colored etching by British artist Elyse Lord.  The title of this image is Bird with Hydrangea.  Created and printed circa 1930 in and edition of 75.  This image is hand signed, numbered 58/75 and titled: "Chinese".  The image measures 11 1/4X12 1/4 inches.  Printed on a thin japan type sheet.

This is a beautifully energetic original etching with drypoint by French artist Hermine David. The image size is 9 7/8 x 8 1/8 inches, published in 1927 in a small edition of 40, pencil signed and numbered. A rich impression on a medium weight watermarked wove type paper. Hermine David was born and raised in Paris and at the age of 16 was accepted into the Ecole Des Beaux Arts, later going on the study at the Academy Julien. She was a well known painter and printmaker and was very active in the thriving artist community in Paris in the early 20th century. She was married to fellow artist Jules Pascin for several years, but in 1920 the couple divorced and David set up her own studio in Montparnasse. She went on to have a long successful career as an artist and illustrator and was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1932.

He is considered one of the foremost Belgian graphic artists.

This is a fine drypoint etching by British artist Sir Henry Rushbury.  The subject is the destruction of St. Olave's cathedral on  Tooley Street in Bermondsey.  This drypoint is hand signed by the artist with pen and ink in the lower border.  The image measures 11 3/8X8 1/16 inches.  Very richly printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  This image created in 1927.  "the demolition in process of a historic London dockside church, St Olave's, Bermondsey/ Southwark. This took place because of local depopulation and the church being given 'redundant' status. Demolition took place in two stages and Rushbury has cleverly seized the moment when the nave was all but destroyed (1926) but the tower was still intact. This didn't last long, and it was demolished in turn in 1928. Building materials and debris litter the foreground."
