This is an original etching by French artist Edgar Chahine.  It is titled: Rio Ca Foscari, Venice.  It was created and printed in 1906 and was published by Gazette des Beaux Arts in Paris.  The image measures 8 5/8 X 5 5/8 inches.  This image appears in the Tabanelli catalog as image number 220.  There is a signature and title in pencil perhaps by another hand then the artist.

This is an original aquatint etching by an Unknown Spanish artist.  The Final Curtain Call is pencil signed, titled and inscribed Puelba de Artista and titled: Fins de Funicion.  The image measures 11 1/2X 9 3/4 inches.  Printed on a Wove type sheet, deckeled edges.

Plate signed and titled. Printed on watermarked laid-type paper, 8 x 10 inches. Burridge studied at the Royal College of Art under Frank Short from 1857 to 1945. He then taught as Head of Liverpool School of Art, 1897-1905, and as Principal of the Liverpool City School of Art, 1905-12, before returning to London as Principal of the Central School of Arts and Crafts, 1912-30. He produced etchings and mezzotints of landscapes and coastal scenes often featuring low horizons and dramatic, stormy skies.

This is an original etching by British artist William Strang.  This image: Eel Fishing in a Cave by Torchlight was created as an illustration to The Compleat Angler by Isaac Walton in 1902.  The image measures 6X4 1/2 inches.  This etching is plate signed only.

This is a drypoint etching by British artist Job Nixon.  THis view of sheep grazing below the castle ruins has an image size of 10X14 1/2 inches.  Pencil signed lower border, printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  There is some old tape staining in the upper border but not near or into the image area.  Very presentable. A beautiful tonal range within this image.

This is an original etching of Russian Peasants, circa 1920.  It is initialed in the plate and signed in sepia ink in the lower right corner of the sheet.  The image measures 8 3/4X11 1/4 inches, printed on a heavy weight wove type paper.  We do not know who this artist is even though it has a clear signature.

Drypoint etching. Pencil signed "E. Popple" in the lower right, pencil titled in the lower left, and numbered 70/150. Plate measures 6 1/2 x 10 3/8 in a black 14 x 17 1/2 inch black frame. This print has good use of plate tone and a rich drypoint burr.
