Edgar Thomson Works

This is a great industrial scene of the Edgar Thomson Works steel mill on the banks of the Monongahela River in East Pittsburgh, PA. Etching, image size 11 x 8 inches, published in 1909 in an edition of 90, cat: Wuerth-517, pencil signed. The Edgar Thomson Works was built in 1873 first producing was steel rails for the railroads. In 1995 the mill was designated a historic landmark and is still in operation today.
