This lovely image of a young girl by the English printmaker Mortimer Menpes measures 5 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches and is pencil signed with an "imp" after his name indicating he was the printer. Etching and drypoint, dated 1882 in the plate. Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself.

Drypoint etching, image size: 12 x 9 1/4 inches, 1926, cat. Smith-128, edition of 80, pencil signed lower right. Heintzelman's skill captures this tender moment between a mother and child. A fine impression with ample margins. Provenance: Baldwin-Wallace College.

This c. 1920 drypoint etching by the American artist, Warren Davis, measures 7 7/8 x 4 7/8 inches and is pencil signed on the lower right. Warren Davis studied at the Art Students League in New York and became known for his etchings of idealized female figures, many of which were used on the covers of Vanity Fair and Life magazines. Later in his career Davis exhibited in Europe and the United States including the Pennsylvania Academy and the Salmagundi Club.

This is an original etching by European old master artist Christian Dietricy (1712-1774) The title of this work is "Der Verlorene Sohn bei dem Pachter", it was created and printed in 1756. It is signed and dated in the plate lower left. The image measures 14 1/4X11 3/4 inches. Printed on a light weight laid type paper. Very good condition

Etching is 9 3/8 x 11 7/8 inches on 11 3/8 x 14 5/8 inch wove-type paper, printed by the artist. The work is pencil signed, c. 1910. The Church of St. Sophia, or "Sophienkirche", was the only gothic church in the whole city of Dresden. It was severely damaged in the Dresden bombing in 1945, and later destroyed completely in 1962 by the German Democratic Republic.
Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. Menpes was taught etching by James McNeill Whistler and they lived together for some time.

Pencil signed in the lower right. An inscription in the lower left of the paper reads "Wine Shop at Royalbourne," a possible title. Plate size measures 10 7/8 x 8 7/8 inches on 16 3/4 x 12 1/4 inch medium-weight wove-type paper.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Louis Orr. The title of this work is : "Fort St. Andre", created circa 1930, this etching has an image size of 9 1/2X11 1/2 inches.
A very rich impression printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

This engraving measures 7 5/8 x 6 inches and has two Latin phrases printed on the bottom margin.

Color woodblock print C. 1858. A collaboration between Hiroshige II, Toyokuni II, and Kunisada. From the series "Miracles of Kannon," a large series that pairs miracles performed by Kannon, the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy, with scenes of temples in the Western, Central, and Eastern provinces of Japan. Date seal: horse 12.

Etching ca. 1919. Printed on laid-type paper, pencil and plate signed in the bottom right corner. This print is very rate: it is the second state out of three, and is one of only two proofs of this state. The etching depicts Glanworth Castle in Cork, Ireland. Image measures 8 x 15 1/4 inches on 11 1/4 x 18 inch paper.
