This is an atmospheric marine etching by J. Henry Hill, after the painting by Otis Weber. The image measures 14 1/2 x 18 1/2 inches, published in 1886 by Klackner, New York, pencil signed on the lower right margin. Hill came from a family of artists and became a well known landscape and marine painter keeping with the pre-raphaelite tradition, influenced by John Ruskin and David Johnson.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Charles Adams Platt.  The title of this work is "Pier at Larmor".  It was created and printed in 1885.  The image measrues 14 1/8X8 1/2 inches.  One of a series of Dutch etchings that he created during this period of travel in Europe.  This is included in the Platt catalog as image number P-55.  Framed.

This is a fine original pencil signed etching by American artist Charles Woodbury .  This etching is titled The Pilot, created 1916.  The image measures 8 3/4X11 inches. Woodbury was born in Lynn Ma where he became known for his coastal paintings and etchings.   He went to Holland in 1890 to study art,   Upon his return to New England he settled in Boston for  his winter studio and spent his summers in the small fishing village of Ogunquit, Maine; there he founded one of the most successful of the summer art colony schools of art.

This is an original wood block print by Jamaican artist  Albert Huie.  This image is titled: In The Woods, created and printed circa 1945.  This woodblock is hand signed and titled in pencil in the lower border.  The image measures 9 1/2X7 1/2 inches.  

Albert Huie (1920-2010) was a seminal figure in the formation and development of a national Jamaican artistic identity, overcoming the hurdles of a colonial-based system of race and class distinctions to become the first native-born Jamaican artist to attain international renown and respect. Working primarily in the areas of landscape, portraiture, and figurative art, he established a multiple award-winning career that spanned seven decades and earned him the title of “the Father of Jamaican Painting.”
