Wotiz graduated from Brown University and became known for her oils and watercolors of the New England landscape and shoreline. She was a member of the North Shore Arts Association, the Concord Art Association and the Western Maine Art Group. (M)

This is a fine impressionistic drawing of farmers leading their Cow, to market?  We are unsure who the artist was, this image is unsigned.  The style suggests the work of the Woodstock artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi.  This drawing was done with litho crayon and ink.  The sheet measures 7 3/4X12 inches.  Drawn on a thin Japan type sheet.

This is a fine original watercolor painting unsigned but  attributed to David Cox Sr.  This work done on a prepared artist watercolor board.  The image measures 5 3/4X9 5/8 inches.  Very fine condition apart from two tiny pin holes in the upper corners which once tacked this to a board.  Rich color.  David Cox was an English landscape painter, one of the most important members of the Birmingham School of landscape artists and an early precursor of Impressionism. He is considered one of the greatest English landscape painters, and a major figure of the Golden age of English watercolour.
