This is an original 3 color wood engraving by American artist Rudolph Ruzicka.  This pencil signed impression is titled: The Mary Celeste, created and printed circa 1930.  This wood engraving came to us in the original folder with information sheet.  This impression was printed by the artist himself.  The image measures 5X7 inches.  The Mary Celeste was abandoned at sea between the Azores and the coast of Portugal, this image shows her as first sighted by the Dei Gratia on the 4th of December 1872.

Etching by Nicolas Mignard after the frescoes of Annibale Carracci depicting scenes from Homer's Odyssey. Plate size 11 3/4 x 13 5/8 inches, published by Pierre Mariette in 1637, with lettering in Latin below the image. Printed on a very early watermarked laid type paper.

Color woodblock print from the series "24 Paragons of Filial Piety." Print measures 13 1/4 x 8 7/8 inches on 14 1/8 x 9 3/4 inch laid paper.

Engraving, after Raphael;4th state w/ coat of arms erased - center lower edge - and traces of the erasure.

This is a fine original etching by British artist Robert Austin.  The title: Medicanti (The Beggars)  is hand signed in pencil and dated 1924.  The image measures 4 1/2X3 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper with the P.G. Head watermark.

Etching image size 11 7/8 x 9 3/8 inches, plate signed lower left, Vivares founded an engravers school, member of the Society of Artists he exhibited in 1766 and 1768. His reproductions of Claude de Lorrain were widely appreciated.

This is an original lithograph, pencil signed and numbered by American artist Raphael Soyer.  The title is Portrait of a Young Girl,  it was created and printed in 1970. Numbered 57/120.  The image measures 15 1/4X12 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  Broad margins, deckeled edges.

This is an original Japanese woodblock triptych by Utagawa Yoshiiku, created circa 1860 This image is titled The Story of Shiranui, acted out in the Kubuki Theater.  This 3 panel woodblock has an image size of 13 1/4X26 1/4 inches, site size, this woodblock is framed.

This is an original Japanese color woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada, created and printed in 1852 this image is titled: "Fukuoka Mitsugi reading the incriminating letter as the sun rises over Futami ga ura"  The image measures 14 1/2X9 9/16 inches.  The colors are bright, richly printed.  This image is framed.  Another impression of this image is in the Portland Art Museum.

A rare original etching by German Impressionist artist Lesser Ury, image size 6 1/2 x 5 3/ 8 inches, c. 1920, edition of 100, pencil signed. There is a repaired tear along the entire top margin, but it does not affect the image and will be easily covered by a window mat.

To her right, Fredie, subject in Fredie du Cafe "Le Lapin Agile" and of Le Poete, regarded by Heintzleman as the last of the great Montmartre singers. Young man with guitar is Fredie's son.

This is a fine wood engraving by Boston printmaker, Shirley Thomson Hadley (1917-) Hadley was the President of the Boson Printmakers Club.  This image titled Old Marblehead was created and printed in 1949 and was given as the 1949 presentation print of the BPC.  This woodengraving is pencil signed, titled and numbered as 18/300.  The image measures 9X7 inches, printed on a hand made wove type paper.

This is an original etching by British artist William Strang.   The title is: A Lodging for the Night, it was created in 1899 and was printed in an edition of 50 signed Wm Strang by the Artists son David Strang.  This impression was printed and signed by David Strang.  The image measures 10X9 9/16 inches.  A beautiful rich impression.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is a fine original wood engraving by American artist Stefan Hirsch (1899-1964)  The title is Snake, created and printed in 1931, the image measures 4X6 inches, on a sheet size of 9 1/2X11 1/2 inches,  pencil signed and numbered as 5/30.  A rare image, only one example is in the collection of the Whitney Museum.
