From His Closed Ward Series, Portrait #2 created and printed in 1965.  Hand signed in pencil.  An edition of 25 this image measures a sheet size of 25 7/8X19 7/8 inches.  Printed on an Arches wove type sheet.  Mazur volunteered to conduct art therapy sessions at the Howard State Institute in Providence R.I. there he  created the series, "Closed Ward"  and later "The Locked Ward".  This is image number 8  from The Closed Ward Series.

Published by Associated American Artists in New York,  in 1937; in edition of 250.  Painter, portrait painter, caricaturist, illustrator, lithographer, writer, art educator. Peggy Bacon studied with John Sloan and Kenneth Hayes Miller.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Warren Davis.  This image is titled After the Bath, created and printed circa 1920.  The image measures 8X6 inches.  Printed on Rives watermarked wove type sheet.   Warren Davis is best known for his depictions of idealized female figures. He studied at the Art Students League in New York. Davis is particularly well known as a magazine illustrator and many of his depictions of ethereal appearing women adorned the covers of Vanity Fair.  (NVFA)

This is a large original pencil signed and titled lithograph by American artist Mark Freeman.  This image is titled: Manhattan Cliffs, printed in 1947 in an edition of only 30 proofs.  This image  measures 19 1/2X15 inches.  This composition is one that he created in multiple versions including in color.  This is a rare impression of one of his best known images.  Matted not framed .

This is an original pencil signed wood engraving by American artist Thomas Nason.  This image is titled: The Sheepfold it was created in 1947 in an edition of 100.  The image measures 3 1/8X7 1/2 inches.  Nicely Framed.  This image appears in the BPL catalog as image number 421.

This is one of the most important works by American artist Troy Kinney (1871-1938)  This artist was best known for his studies of Ballet and Modern Dance.  The title of this work is: Lopokova and Nijinski in Les Sylphides.  It was created and printed in 1916, This hand colored etchings is numbered as 76/82.  The image measures 12 1/8X9 7/8 inches.  The etching is hand signed in pencil lower left border.  Very fine condition, the colors are richer than our image suggests.  The image appears in the 1020 Kinney catalog as image number 11.
