After the Bath, C. 1920

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Warren Davis.  This image is titled After the Bath, created and printed circa 1920.  The image measures 8X6 inches.  Printed on Rives watermarked wove type sheet.   Warren Davis is best known for his depictions of idealized female figures. He studied at the Art Students League in New York. Davis is particularly well known as a magazine illustrator and many of his depictions of ethereal appearing women adorned the covers of Vanity Fair.  (NVFA)
