This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist Frank Benson.  It is titled: Canada River, created and printed in 1920 in an edition of 150, printed on Hodamura paper The image measures 6X7 1/2 inches, hand signed in pencil lower border.  This image appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 179.  A fine impression, nicely framed.

This is an original lithograph by American modernist artist Leonard Baskin.  This image from his important Indian series is titled: White Horse, it was created and printed in 1972.  This pencil signed impression is numbered as 80/160.  Mint condition, the image measures 33X25 inches on a sheet size of 35 1/2X25 inches.  This image appears in the Baskin catalog as image number 616.

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Leonard Baskin.  This image taken from his series of Indian portraits that he created in 1972.  This image is titled: Chief Wets it, Assiniboine, This pencil signed and numbered impression, 24/160, measures an image of 32X22 on a sheet size of 35 1/2X25 inches.  Mint condition.  This image appears in the Baskin catalog as image number 609.

This is a rare early etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title is Brasserie, Au Lion Rouge, created and printed in 1893 in an edition of only 40 impressions.  The image measures 6 1/4X8 1/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil and also signed by the printer Goulding.  This early image shows the influence that Whistler had on Pennell, in both the style and technique.  Nice use of plate tone within the image.  This image appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 188.  A fine view of a Paris Brasserie.  This impression was last sold by Frederick Keppel and Co in New York. This is a large original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title is: The Gun Factory, it was created and printed in 1917 as part of his series War Work in America.  The image measures 20 3/4X15 1/2 inches.  Printed on a laid type watermarked sheet.

This is a hand signed original etching by British artist James Mcbey.  This image is titled: California, San Luis Obispo, it was created and printed in 1941.  This impression is numbered as 38 from the edition of 48. "XXXVIII".  Very nice condition printed on a warm toned sheet, the image measures 6 1/2X14 1/8 inches.  In the Hardie catalog as image number 283.

This is a fine color aquatint and etching by French artist Manuel Robbe, this impressionistic image is titled: Clichy, created and printed in 1910 in an edition of 100.  This image measures 23 1/2X14 1/2 inches. Pencil signed lower right.  This image is printed on a medium weight laid type Arches watermarked sheet, with publishers blind stamp lower left corner.  This impression is numbered as 79.

This is a hand colored etching by French artist Auguste Louis Lepere.  The title in the plate is Sur La Seine,88.  Hand signed lower right in pencil.  The image measures 9 1/2X12 1/2 inches.  Printed on an "M.B.M." watermarked laid paper.  The upper border is 1/4 inches wide, just enough for proper presentation  A very rich inking and fine use of coloration after the etching was printed.  "It’s 1888 and Paris readies itself for the Exposition Universelle, a spectacular world’s fair staged the following year for the centennial of the French Revolution, which overthrew the monarchy in 1789. The centerpiece would be the Eiffel Tower, under construction on the far side of the River Seine" (Minneapolis Institute of Art)

This is a fine original pencil signed etching by American artist Charles Woodbury .  This etching is titled The Pilot, created 1916.  The image measures 8 3/4X11 inches. Woodbury was born in Lynn Ma where he became known for his coastal paintings and etchings.   He went to Holland in 1890 to study art,   Upon his return to New England he settled in Boston for  his winter studio and spent his summers in the small fishing village of Ogunquit, Maine; there he founded one of the most successful of the summer art colony schools of art.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist and illustrator Warren B. Davis.  This image is titled: Wind Blown, created and printed circa 1920.  The image measures 8X6 inches, printed on a wove type sheet.  Warren Davis is best known for his depictions of idealized female figures. He studied at the Art Students League in New York. Davis is particularly well known as a magazine illustrator and many of his depictions of ethereal appearing women adorned the covers of Vanity Fair.  (NVFA)

This is a finely detailed original etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  This etching is titled: Louviers Lace, Porte Du Bapteme, Eglise Nortre Dame, Louviers created and printed in 1936.  Pencil signed and Editioned as 100 of the third state, printed by William Strang.  This image measures 12 1/8X3 3/8 inches.  Fletcher 303 from his French Church Series.  Nicely framed with archival boards.

This is a very rare wood engraving by French artist Louis Lepere.  The subject is: Travaux aux bords d'un fleuve, Works on the RIverbank, created and printed circa 1880.  This image is hand signed in pencil by the artist and measures 11 5/8X8 1/2 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet.  A finely detailed image of Soldiers working  on an embankment.  Very nice condition. 

This is an original pencil signed etching with drypoint by French artist Auguste Louis Lepere.  The title is: La Chaumiere a Rousseau, ( The Thatched Cottage at Rousseau)  Created and printed in 1915 in an edition of 35, this impression is numbered 11/35.  Publishers blind stamp, Ed Sagot Paris.  The image measures 6X8 3/4 inches.  Printed on a lightweight wove type sheet.  A fine impression in the style of the French Barbizon artists.

This c. 1886 etching from the French artist, Paul Albert Besnard, measures 12 3/8 x 9 3/4 inches, pencil signed, editioned (three of 100), plate 10 of 12 from a series titled "La Femme", delteil 56(2nd state). Besnard studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and for the beginning of his artistic career concentrated on a very academic style of painting and composition, before adopting a more impressionistic approach of portraying light and color; later he went to England to study portraiture with Thomas Gainesborough and Joshua Reynolds.
