Don Swann was an American artist from Baltimore who studied in Munich, Germany and Italy. His work has been shown in many cities in the United States and forms part of the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the U.S. Naval Museum, the Congressional Library, and others.
This etching by Peter Marcus measures 9 1/8 x 7 5/8 inches, pencil signed, label included from Kennedy and Co. Rare Prints, NY. Marcus studied at the Art Students League and in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. His works are included in the National Academy of Design, Art Institute of Chicago and the Salmagundi Club.

A well inked impression with plate toning. Sir David Cameron was considered one of the greatest British etchers of the early 20th century. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland and began studying art at the Glasgow Art School before moving on to the Edinburgh School of Art. He was a member of the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers, the Royal Society of Painters in Water-Colours, and the Royal Scottish Academy. He was eventually knighted for his contribution to British art.
