This etching is plate initialed in the lower left. Plate measures 3 3/8 x 5 7/8 inches in a 10 1/2 x 12 1/2 inch black frame from Kennedy & Co, label on back. A well inked impression with plate toning. Sir David Cameron was considered one of the greatest British etchers of the early 20th century. He was born in Glasgow, Scotland and began studying art at the Glasgow Art School before moving on to the Edinburgh School of Art. He was a member of the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of Painter-Etchers, the Royal Society of Painters in Water-Colours, and the Royal Scottish Academy. He was eventually knighted for his contribution to British art.

This D.Y. Cameron etching created in 1924 measures 7 7/8 x 6 7/8 inches. It is plate signed and pencil signed "D.Y. Cameron". Late afternoon shadows fall on the walls of the public baths in Rome built during the reign of Emperor Caracalla.

The image size is 9 3/8 x 4 inches, 1894, no. 6 in the 'North Italian Set', cat: Rinder- 209, pencil signed. According to Rinder, this is a corner of the Palazzo Camello, Fondamenta dei Mori, Venice.

This is an original pencil signed etching by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  The title of this work is: "Saint Mark's No.2"  It was created and printed in 1900.  The image measures 12X7 3/8 inches.  Printed on a light weight laid type paper..  This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 307.

This is a fine original drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Y. Cameron.  The title of this etching is: Craigievar Castle, It was created and printed in 1908.  The image measures 9 1/2X13 3/4 inches.  It is pencil signed lower right border.  printed on a medium weight laid type paper.  Very richly printed.  This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 402.  The thired state of three.  The setting is amoung the scenic rolling foothills of the Grampian Mountains south of Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

This is a fine etching with drypoint by British artist D.Y. Cameron.  The subject here is Notre Dame Dinant, created and printed in 1907, this is the second state of three.  Hand signed in pencil,  first sold through Arthur Harlow in New York.  The image measures 13 1/2X6 3/4 inches.  The sheet is laid down on a support sheet, borders are 1/4 inches wide all around.
