This original etching and drypoint by the American artist Hans Kleiber measures 8 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches, pencil signed, presentation print published by "The Print Makers Society of California" in 1933 in an edition of 240. Born in Germany and coming to the US as a young man, he became a forest ranger with the U.S. Forest Service. His love of the land and its' wildlife instilled a lifelong interest in the protection and preservation of it. The image above was created in Wyoming's Grand Teton National Park.
