This is a fine original lithograph by American artist Stow Wengenroth.  The title is: The Wild Coast, Ogunquit, Maine, created and printed in 1973 in an edition of 60.  The image measures 10 1/4X15 1/2 inches.  This image appears in the Stuckey catalog supplement number 349.  Very nice condition.

This is a fine original drypoint etching by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  The title is: Castle Urquhart, created and printed in 1929 in an edition of 75 impressions.  Hand signed in pencil lower right.  Printed on a fine medium weight laid type sheet with watermark. " Castle Urquhart is situated on the banks of Loch Ness, with magnificent views across the Great Glen towards Inverness and Fort Augustus. Throughout its long existence, the castle has been an important strategic stronghold for anyone wishing to control the area, including both Robert the Bruce and Oliver Cromwell’s armies."

Catalog. Teller 3. Etching, 1927.  The image measures  4 x 3 inches; 100 x 75 mm. Signed in pencil. One of only a very few lifetime impressions, this image  was later printed in 1989 in an edition of 60 unsigned etchings. Isabel Bishop was one of New York City’s leading printmakers from the late 1930’s to the 1960’s. Bishop both studied at, and taught at, the Art Students League in New York and made her home and studio in the heart of the bustling urban scene. The work of Isabel Bishop focuses entirely on the depiction of figures.

This is an original pencil signed etching by German expressionist Lovis Corinth.  The title is Salome, created and printed in 1919, this impression is numbered 28/150.  The image measures 7 5/8X9 7/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet, with a Collectors stamp William P. Moor on the back of the sheet.

This is an original etching with aquatint and drypoint by French artist Louis Legrand.  The title is: L'Habillage (Dressing)   a back stage view done for  the La Petite Classe, a series of 12 images  that Legrand created as a portfolio in  1908.  The image measures 16 3/4X11 3/4 inches.  This was the 4th state of 5 which includes the Remarque of a racehorse, printed in an edition of 30.  Signed in pencil and numbered,14/30.  This image appears in the Arwas catalog as image number 369.  This etching printed on a buff toned sheet is archivally framed.  This image was used as the cover of the Arwas catalog.

This is an original Arthur Briscoe etching, titiled: "Heavy Canvas", this etching was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 75.  The image is hand signed in pen and ink and editioned in the lower border.  The image measures 13 1/2X8 3/8 inches.  The subject shows four men making fast the crossjack of a four masted barque.  This etching is archivally framed.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Otto Kuhler.  The image is titled: Steamboat  Wharf, created and printed in 1925.  The image measures 8X10 3/4 inches.  "Although best known for his industrial designs, Otto Kuhler (1894-1977) is well regarded as a fine artist and draftsman. Born in Germany, Kuhler was the sole heir to his family's successful steel business, Kuhler Forges. After WWI however, the business and his family's fortune were in ruins. After living briefly in Dusseldorf, and partly due to the advice of friend Joseph Pennell, he took up etching and emigrated to the States in 1923. Otto Kuhler's etchings of begrimed industry sprang from the same optimistic response to technology that led to his colorful streamlined designs for the Milwaukee, Lehigh and other railroads in the 1930's." This is an original drypoint and aquatint etching by French artist Jacques VIllon, The title is: Petite boudeuse, created and printed in 1905 in an edition of 50.  Hand signed in pencil, the image printed in sepia ink measures 13 3/4X9 inches.  This image appears in the Ginestet/Pouillon catalog as image number 129 ii/ii.

This is an original etching with aquatint and drypoint  by French artist Manuel Robbe.  The title is: Nu Se Coffant, ca.  Nude Combing her Hair, circa 1906.  This etching is hand signed in pencil upper right within the image.  This is a rare black and white impression.  The image measures 19 1/2X13 inches. 

This is a fine original lithograph by French artist Eugene Carriere.  The title is Homage to Tolstoy (Consolation) Created and printed in 1901.  This impression is hand signed lower right border.  The image measures 9X6 inches, printed on a Hand made Japan type laid sheet.  This lithograph is nicely framed with archival materials.  "Eugène Anatole Carrière was a French Symbolist artist of the fin-de-siècle period. Carrière's paintings are best known for their near-monochrome brown palette and their ethereal, dreamlike quality. He was a close friend of Auguste Rodin and his work likely influenced Pablo Picasso's "

This is an original color aquatint and etching by French artist Manuel Robbe.  The title is Place Pigalle, it was created and printed in 1925 in an edition of 200 published by L'Estampe Moderne.  The image measures 11 1/4X15 3/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower right border.  Place Pigalle is in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, in Montmartre.

This is a fine line engraving by British artist Stanley Anderson.  The title is The Old Tinker.  This pencil signed impression measures 7 X5 1/2  inches, created and printed in 1933.  This image appears in the Anderson Catalog as image number 208.  The tinker is depicted soldering a patch to a leaking kettle while his wife is about to renew the cane seat of an old chair.  Anderson often returned to the subject of the wanderer, of itinerants such as wayfarers pedlars and gypsies making their way through town.  This engraving is in a modern frame with archival materials.
