This is a rare pencil signed bookplate design by Evert Van muyden.  It has numerous views of men working in a printing shop.  Pencil signed lower right.  The image measures 8 1/2X6 1/2 inches.  Collectors seals and annotations on the back.  This image was created and printed circa 1890's.

Etching, image size 5 x 9 inches, pencil signed l.r. "Wm Sharp". Sharp was born in Austria where he attended the Academy for Arts and Industry. His early career started with designing stain glass windows and painting murals but he quickly became involved with the anti-Hitler movement and created political cartoons against it. He used a pseudonym but was found out and was to be sent to a concentration camp but escaped to the US in 1934. He was a longtime contributor to The New York Times Magazine and The New York Post. Sharp's work is represented in many museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Library of Congress, the Carnegie Institute, and the New York Public Library.

This is a period printing of a Battle Scene from the Thirty Years War, engraved  and printed in 1762 By William Baillie.  Initialed and dated in the lower left corner of the border. 1/8 inch margins on three sides, some tears at the right edge of the sheet.  The image measures 8 1/8X 13 7/8 inches.  Printed on an early laid type sheet.

Drypoint etching with a rich burr. Pencil signed in the lower right. Plate measures 7 7/8 x 10 inches in a 15 x 17 inch silver frame. Rosenberg studied architecture at the University of Oregon before moving into architectural etching, studying at the American Academy in Rome and the Royal College of Art in London. The majority of his work was of European buildings with historic significance.

This is a very fine original etching, image size 7 1/8 x 9 inches, c. 1920, hand signed in ink and inscribed "To Dr. Charles Oppenheim with best wishes". Lionel Reiss was born in Poland but grew up in New York City; he was known for his images of Jewish life and culture, and in the 1920s spent several years traveling throughout Europe and the Middle East creating many images of everyday life in the Jewish communities he visited.
