This is a rare aquatint etching by American artist Philip Kappel.  The title is: Chatham Bar, Cape Cod, created and printed in  1926.  The image measures 7 7/8X9 3/4 inches.  Hand signed and titled in pencil in the lower border.  Kappel made a smaller copy of this subject many years later.  Printed on a buff toned wove type sheet.  Beautiful condition, matted not framed.
