20th Century American Prints

This is an original pencil signed and titled etching by American artist Kent Hagerman.  This image is of the First Test Flight of C119, the Flying Boxcar.  The image measures 6 3/4X9 5/8 inches.  Hagerman was an artist working for Fairchild Aviation Company in Hagerstown MD.

This is a fine drypoint etching by American artist Phillip Kappel.  The title is: Willemstad, Curacao, it was created and printed  Circa. 1930.  The image is pencil signed and titled by the artist.  The image measures 6 7/8X8 7/8 inches.  Fine use of plate tone in the sea and sky.

This is an original etching by American artist Jack Coughlin.  The title is Owl in Flight II.  Created and printed circa 1970.  This etching is hand signed in pencil, titled and inscribed as artists proof.  The image measures 14 3/4X10 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight watermarked B.F.K. sheet.  A rich impression in very fine condition.

This is an original wood engraving by American modernist artist Leonard Baskin.  The title is: The Funeral, from his series of St. Julien the Hospitaller.  Created and printed in 1957, this pencil signed image measures 2 1/4X9 1/2 inches.  Appears in the f&o catalog as image number 305.  This impression is inscribed, "A.P." as an early artist's proof later to be published.

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by American artist Joseph Hirsch.  The title is Survivor, created and printed in 1954 and sold by Associated American Artists in New York.  The image measures 7X13 7/8 inches.  It appears in the Hirsch catalog as image number 30.

This is an original line engraving by American artist Thomas Nason.  This image created in 1946 as a presentation print for the Miniature Print Society Alexandria Virginia.  It is pencil signed and came to us in the original presentation folder.  The image measures 2X3 1/2 inches on a buff toned laid type sheet.  this image appears in the Nason catalog as image number 390.
