Etching, image size 7 5/8 x 4 5/8 inches, c. 1930, unsigned, printed on laid paper, re-strike.

This is an original etching by French artist Pierre Dubreuil.  The title is: Les Cinq Baigneuses, Five Bathers.  Created and printed circa 1940 this etching is hand signed in pencil and inscribed as "Epreuve d' artiste XVI/XX"  The image mesures 10 1/2X12 1/2 inches.  Nicely framed with a French mat.

Etching, drypoint, image size 6 3/4 x 10 7/8 inches, 1934, pencil signed and plate signed l.r. and l.l. "Muirhead Bone".

This is an original mezzotint etching by British artist Percival Gaskell.  This view of river rapids has an image of 9 1/2X 13 5/8 inches.  Pencil signed lower right border, printed on a chin collet adhered to a thicker sheet.  Printed with a warm toned ink.  Gaskell is one of the best of the early British mezzotint artists.

This is an original pencil signed lithograph by Maurice de Vlaminck.  The title of this work is: Duhamel,Les Hommes Abandonnes, it was created and printed in 1927 as part of his Duhamel series.  This image measures 5 1/4X6 1/4 inches, printed on a wove type paper measuring 9 1/2X12 inches.  This image appears in the Flammarion catalog as image number 217.

A richly inked original etching of a sunny European city street, this image measures 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, published in 1950 for the Chicago Society of Etchers, pencil signed and inscribed "To my friend J. R. Brownell".

This is an original etching by French artist Louis Legrand.  The title is: Le Bon Bedeau, (The Good Beadle)  It was created and printed in 1905 in an edition of 50.  The image measures 21 1/4X14 1/4 inches.  Pencil signed lower right with the red publishers stamp next to the signature.  Editioned as 8/40.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is a fine original engraving by French artist Jean Emile Laboureur.  It is titled lower left border, Marine aux L Bateaux, it was created and printed in 1923 and is numbered 33/45.  The image measures 5 1/2X4 1/2 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower left border, printed on a wove type watermarked paper.

Etching, image size 6 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches, pencil signed l.l., plate initialed l.l., artist blindstamp l.r., very rare image, number one of 12 impressions, small repair in the image.

This is a very fine original etching with beautiful plate tone by French artist Louis Legrand. The image size is 5 7/8 x 8 1/4 inches, published in 1911 in an edition of 50 impressions, cat: Arwas- 426, state II/II, pencil signed.

Etching is 9 3/8 x 11 7/8 inches on 11 3/8 x 14 5/8 inch wove-type paper, printed by the artist. The work is pencil signed, c. 1910. The Church of St. Sophia, or "Sophienkirche", was the only gothic church in the whole city of Dresden. It was severely damaged in the Dresden bombing in 1945, and later destroyed completely in 1962 by the German Democratic Republic.
Menpes attended the School of Art in London in 1878 and started exhibiting at the Royal Academy in 1880. He became a major figure in the etching revival, producing more than seven hundred different etchings and drypoints, which he usually printed himself. Menpes was taught etching by James McNeill Whistler and they lived together for some time.

This is an original lithograph, pencil signed, by Czech artist Emil Orlik, 1870-1932.  The subject is a portrait study of The Poet Klabund, also known as Alfred Henschke.  The image measures 10 1/2X9 inches, printed on a thin wove type sheet.  Light toning to the sheet.

This is an original etching and drypoint by Scottish artist David Young Cameron.  This image created in 1932 is titled: Castle Moyle, located on the Isle of Skye.  The image measures 6 7/8X10 7/8 inches, signed in the plate and also hand signed in pencil in the lower border.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet with unicorn watermark.

Pencil and plate signed in bottom right. Plate size measures 6 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches on 11 1/2 x 9 1/4 wove type paper. Featured in Fine Prints of the Year in 1927.

This is an orignal etching by Scottish artist Ernest S. Lumsden.  The subject is: A Jodhpur Gate, part of his Indian series created and printed in 1913.  This pencil signed impression has an image size of 8 1/2X5 3/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  Printed with a brown toned ink
