This is a scarce etching by Scottish artist David Y. Cameron.  The title is: Robert Lee's Workshop, created and printed in 1905, this is the third state of three.  hand signed in pencil 1/4 inch borders on three sides, more on the bottom.  "This etching shows the boat-builers workshop at Tweedmouth.  The image measures 11 7/8X8 5/8 inches.  Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.  This image appears in the Rinder catalog as image number 375.

This is a fine atmospheric etching by American artist Frank Benson.  The title is Rain Squall, it was created and printed in 1931.  We believe this to be an early state prior to the published state where the foreground ripples were removed,  The image measures 6 7/8X8 3/4 inches.  This etching appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 317,  A beautiful work in nice condition.

This is an original woodcut print by American artist Winifred Milius Lubell.  This print is pencil signed, dated and titled by the artist lower border.  Titled The Artist, created and printed in 1937, this is a very rare hand signed impression.  The image printed on a very thin Japan type sheet measures 9 1/4X5 3/4 inches.  A little light rubbing to part of the signature but overall very nice condition.

This is an atmospheric original etching by British Marine artist and Lieutenant-Commander of the Royal Navy, Rowland Langmaid. Etching with drypoint, image size 5 5/8 x 8 inches, c. 1930, pencil signed and titled. A beautiful image of the silhouette of Big Ben rising above the busy Thames River.

A fine detailed etching by British printmaker, William Lionel Wyllie. Created c. 1915, it measures 6 1/2 x 14 3/4 inches and is pencil signed on the l.l. This is a great image of yacht racing in the Solent, where Cowes Week is an annual sailing event. Wyllie was a well known marine painter and printmaker, studying at the Heatherley School of Fine Art and then at the at the Royal Academy. At the age of 18, Wyllie won the Turner Gold Medal for his painting "Dawn After A Storm". He went on to have a long artistic career, specializing in paintings and etchings of the sea and the city of London.

This is an original color aquatint etching by French artist Manuel Robbe.  This image is titled: Maquillage, (making up)  It was created and printed in  1904.  It has the French publishers blindstamp lower right corner of the sheet.  This impression is hand signed in pencil lower right border.  The image measures 16 7/16X12 7/8 inches.  The image appears in the Perussaux catalog as image number 130.

Color aquatint. Numbered in pencil in the lower left, 2/25. Pencil signed in the lower right. Plate signed in the lower left. Plate measures 8 x 10 inches on 8 7/8 x 11 3/8 inch wove type paper. Small registration holes on either side of the print. Meyerowitz studied at the National Academy of Design in NY and is best known for his development of producing etchings in color. His work is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Carnegie Institute; National Academy of Design; Harvard University and the Library of Congress.

This was the original lithographs from the Panama Canal Series created in 1912 by the American artist Joseph Pennell.  The title of this work is: The Approach to the Canal from the Pacific.  This impression done on a Fabiano watermarked laid paper is hand signed in pencil with collectors annotations in the lower edge of the sheet.  The image measures 16 1/2X 22 inches, on a sheet size of 20 1/2X25 1/2 inches.

This is an extremely large hand colored engraving by William Overend Geller, after the painting by Baron Jolly. This engraving is titled: "Franklin at the Court of France, 1778". It was published in Philadelphia in 1853. The image measures 27 1/2X 37 3/4 inches on a sheet size of 31 1/2X40 inches. This engraving was originally sold with the edition of hand coloring in watercolor. The colors are very rich, the sheet is linen backed but in very good condition. Sold unframed.
