This is  a finely detailed  etching by British artist Stanley Badmin.  The title is Richmond Bridge, created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 50, this impression is 4/50.  The image measures 4 3/8X6 3/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil S.R. Badmin.  This image appears as number 24 in the Beetles catalog.  Published by the Twenty-One Gallery. Exhibited:Royal Academy ofArts, 1931. Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers, 1932. This is an original drypoint etching by British artist William Russell Flint.  The title is Aragonese String Makers, it was created and printed in 1930.  It is editioned as impression number XXVII...  The image measures 9 1/2X14 3/4 inches.  Printed on an early laid type paper, R.G. 1820.  The image is signed in sepia ink lower right border.  A very rich inking with extensive use of plate tone in the sky and land.  A beautiful impression.  This image was reproduced  for  the book "Fine Prints of the Year, 1931, published by Malcolm Salaman

This is an original color woodblock print by French artist Auguste Lepere (1849-1918)  The title of this work is: Bucolique Moderne, Modern Arcadia.  It was created and printed in 1882.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  This printing is the first state of V.  The image measures 10X15 inches.  Pencil signed and dated in the lower right border.

This is a fine original etching by American artist Joseph Pennell.  The subject is, The Ferry House, The Cortlandt Steet Ferry from the Jersey City Side.  THis etching is hand signed in pencil, the image measures 12X10 inches, printed on an antique laid type sheet.  This was sold originally by Schwartz Galleries in New York.  This impressive etching is nicely framed with collectors annotations on the back,

This is an original etching and aquatint by American artist Kerr Eby.  The subject is Eby's home which he named Driftway, in Westport Connecticut.  This etching is hand signed in pencil and has an image size of 8 3/8X15 3/8 inches.  Printed in an edition of 100 in 1939.  This image appears in the Giardina catalog as image number 196.  Printed on a medium weight laid type paper.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Jules Pascin 1885-1935.  The title is Bal Tabarin, ( The tabarin Ball) created and printed in  1926 in an edition of 100, this impression is hand signed in pencil and numbered 30/100.  The image measures 11 1/4X13 1/4 inches.  "Pascin was Bulgarian and moved to Paris in 1905. He exhibited at various Paris art shows and was also an exhibitor at the Armory Show in New York in 1913. He moved to New York with his lover, Hermine David, and they eventually married in 1918. Like Toulouse-Lautrec, Pascin drew upon his surroundings and his friends as subjects. Nightlife scenes, such as this one, were typical of his artwork"

This is a fine pencil signed etching by American artist John Sloan.  This image is titled: Bandit's Cave, created and  printed in 1920 as a presentation print for the New Republic Portfolio of six etchings.  The image measures 7X5 inches, very nice condition.  Printed in an edition of 500.  Morse 195.

Aquatint, image size 10 1/2 x 16 1/4 inches, 1918, cat. Hardie-163, pencil signed. One of Short's largest aquatints, this scene depicts two fishermen on the Bure at Stokesby Ferry near Acle in Norfolk.

This is an origiinal etching by California artist Armin Hansen.  The title is: Returning Fishermen, created and printed in 1925.  The image pencil signed  and titled and measures 6X7 7/8 inches.  Fine condition, printed on a medium weight laid type sheet.  This image appears in the White catalog as image number 74.  "Armin Carl Hansen (1886–1957) was an American prominent painter of the en plein air school, and a native of San Francisco, best known for his marine canvases. His father Herman Wendelborg Hansen was also an artist of the American West. Armin Hansen studied at the California School of Design (now the San Francisco Art Institute), and in Europe. He achieved international recognition for his scenes depicting men and the sea off the northern coast of California. He was elected an Associate to the National Academy of Design in 1926"

This is a fine original etching by American artist George Elbert Burr.  The title is Evening, a very atmospheric impression, both pencil signed and titled.  The image measures 12X10 inches.  Printed on a medium weight buff toned laid paper.  Very rich and fine inking on this image.  It appears in the Burr catalog as image number 124.

This is a fine original etching and aquatint by American artist Gottlob L. Briem. This rare image is titled Empire State Building, N.Y.C.  It was created and printed circa 1930.  It is pencil signed and inscribed "to Elmerine (Finn) a Vermont artist with best wishes".  The image measures 14X9 inches,  printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is a very highly detailed drypoint etching by American artist Walter Tittle, (1883-1966)  This large image, pencil signed measures 10 1/2X15 1/2 inches. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet, annotated as "Gift of the Artist" lower right border.  Very fine condition, a very rich impression of this rare image.

This is a beautifully colored etching and aquatint by French master of the Belle Epoch, Manuel Robbe (1872-1936) The title of this work is" Claudine" it was created and printed in 1903 and Published by Sagot in Paris. The image measures 12X9 3/4 inches, printed on a medium weight Arches watermarked laid paper. deckeled edges, a very rich impression, excellent condition. Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and then the Ecole des Beaux Artes. His technique of hand coloring the images means that no two are exactly alike, a very painterly technique.

This is a life time impression of the well known etching by Pierre Auguste Renoir, titled: Femme, Nue Couchee, Nude woman reclining facing right.  Created and printed in 1906, this impression done on a laid type sheet with the Fortuna watermark from the original printing.  The image measures 5 5/8X7 5/8 inches on a buff toned sheet.  Very fine condition.  Very light even toning over the image only, possibly as originally presented.  The image appears in the Melot catalog as image number R-14

This is a fine award winning etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  The title is: Reflections at Finchingfield, it was created and printed in  1938.  From his English Series, this is the 2nd state of two, printed by David Strang in an edition of 100 as inscribed on the etching lower left also hand signed and dated in pencil lower right border.  This large etching measures 7 1/16X17 1/8 inches.  Found in the Fletcher catalog as image number 311.  This image won prices from the Chicago Society of Etchers, the Lotus Club and Northwest Printmakers.  One of his finest images with the  incredible reflection found in the pond below the buildings. ( our photo doesnt show a fraction of the image on the right side, this etching is overall complete with good borders all around.
