This is a fine original etching by American Ex Pat, Mary Cassatt.  The title is: Looking into the Hand Mirror, No. 3.  It was created and printed in 1905, done in drypoint on an antique thin laid type paper, unsigned as typical of this image.  The image measures 8 3/4X5 1/4 inches.  This image appears in the Breeskin catalog as image number 202.  Very light toning to the sheet, some imperfections in the paper from when it was produced, unobtrusive .  A fine impression of this well known image.  "Mary Stevenson Cassatt was an American painter and printmaker. She was born in Allegheny, Pennsylvania, but lived much of her adult life in France, where she befriended Edgar Degas and exhibited with the Impressionists. "  Nice custom Framed..

This is a fine original lithograph by American artist William S. Schwartz.  The title is: Portrait of the Artist's Wife and her Grandfather.  THis lithograph was created and printed in 1929.  The image measures 21 1/4X16 5/8 inches.  Hand signed in pencil lower left and also signed within the plate.  William S. Schwartz was born in Smorgon, Russia, February 23, 1896.  He immigrated to the USA at the age of 17 and became a successful artist moving to Chicago and studying at the Art Institute.

This is a fine original mezzotint by British artist Sir Francis Seymour Haden.  This image is "Grayling Fishing" created and printed in 1897.  This etching, pencil signed lower right measures 7 1/2X11 3/4inches.  This is the second state of five.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  The image appears in the Schneiderman catalog as image number 227.  A fine rich impression.  Haden was an avid fisherman, this was one of his subjects, the famous fishing streams in the United Kingdom.  Which included On the Test, The Compleat Angler and Fishermen on the Thames.

This is an original drypoint etching by French artist Jules Pascin 1885-1935.  The title is Bal Tabarin, ( The tabarin Ball) created and printed in  1926 in an edition of 100, this impression is hand signed in pencil and numbered 30/100.  The image measures 11 1/4X13 1/4 inches.  "Pascin was Bulgarian and moved to Paris in 1905. He exhibited at various Paris art shows and was also an exhibitor at the Armory Show in New York in 1913. He moved to New York with his lover, Hermine David, and they eventually married in 1918. Like Toulouse-Lautrec, Pascin drew upon his surroundings and his friends as subjects. Nightlife scenes, such as this one, were typical of his artwork"

This is a fine original etching by American artist John Taylor Arms.  The title is: Notre Dame de Paris, created and printed in 1925 as part of his Churches of France series.  This impression is pencil signed, printed in an edition of 150, the image measures 12 3/8X13 15/16 inches.  It appears in the Fletcher catalog as image number 167.  A combination of etching with aquatint.  One of his finest etchings of europe.

This is an original color woodblock print by French artist Auguste Lepere (1849-1918)  The title of this work is: Bucolique Moderne, Modern Arcadia.  It was created and printed in 1882.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.  This printing is the first state of V.  The image measures 10X15 inches.  Pencil signed and dated in the lower right border.

This is a fine industrial etching by American artist   Otto Kuhler.   "Monster & Midgets". 1928. The image measures 9 3/8 x 12 7/8. inches.  Etching. Signed in pencil. Edition: 75. Excellent condition. Although best known for his industrial Designs, Otto Kuhler  is well regarded as a fine artist and draftsman. Born in Germany, Kuhler was the sole heir to his family's successful steel business, Kuhler Forges. After WWI however, the business and his family's fortune were in ruins. After living briefly in Dusseldorf, and partly due to the advice of friend Joseph Pennell, he took up etching and emigrated to the States in 1923. Otto Kuhler's etchings of begrimed industry sprang from the same optimistic response to technology that led to his colorful streamlined designs for the Milwaukee, Lehigh and other railroads in the 1930's. "This merging of industry and art proved so successful that after years of submitting designs, a locomotive based on Kuhler's designs was built. The engine, Hiawatha, rolled out of the Schenectady, New York yard in May, 1935. It was the first streamlined steam locomotive to be built from scratch in America. This signaled the start of the next phase of his career- as a successful industrial designer."

This is a beautifully colored etching and aquatint by French master of the Belle Epoch, Manuel Robbe (1872-1936) The title of this work is" Claudine" it was created and printed in 1903 and Published by Sagot in Paris. The image measures 12X9 3/4 inches, printed on a medium weight Arches watermarked laid paper. deckeled edges, a very rich impression, excellent condition. Robbe studied at the Academie Julien and then the Ecole des Beaux Artes. His technique of hand coloring the images means that no two are exactly alike, a very painterly technique.

This is an original lithograph by American artist John S. deMartelly.  The image, Old Moon was created and printed in 1938 and sold by Associated American Artists in New York.  The image measures 10 1/8X13 3/4 inches.  One of his best regionalist images.  Much in the style of Thomas Hart Benton of whom the artist knew and worked with  while at the Kansas City Art Institiute in the 1930's and early 40's.  This lithograph is framed with the AAA label on the back.

This is a finely detailed wood engraving by American artist Hendrik Glintenkamp (1887-1946)  The title is: Manhattan construction, Radio City, N.Y.  It was created and printed in 1932, and is numbered 25/100.  Hand signed in pencil lower border and also on the back of the sheet.  Very fine condition.

This is an original engraving with drypoint by American artist Armin Landeck.  The title is: Shadowed Street, created and printed in 1947 in an edition of 100.  This pencil signed impression measures 7 3/4X11 7/8 inches.  Beautiful condition.  
"Landeck found inspiration in the play of shadows found between the buildings of cities, perhaps drawn to the way their angles played against those of the architecture." (Annex).  Found in the 
Kraeft catalog as image number 98.

This is an original drypoint etching by British artist William Russell Flint.  The title is Aragonese String Makers, it was created and printed in 1930.  It is editioned as impression number XXVII...  The image measures 9 1/2X14 3/4 inches.  Printed on an early laid type paper, R.G. 1820.  The image is signed in sepia ink lower right border.  A very rich inking with extensive use of plate tone in the sky and land.  A beautiful impression.  This image was reproduced  for  the book "Fine Prints of the Year, 1931, published by Malcolm Salaman

This is an original etching by American artist Otto Kuhler.  The title is: The Queen and the Slaves, created and printed in 1926.  This impression is pencil signed and inscribed as "Trial Proof, ltd edition 10 proofs", 1926.  The image measures 9 1/2 X13 1/4 inches.  Fine use of plate tone in the sea and sky.  The subject is the German liner, Breman.  The later published edition done in 1930 was of only 40 ...

This is an original lithograph by French artist Georges Rouault.  This is a portrait of Gustave Moreau, the teacher and mentor of Rouault.  It is known as the portrait in the little hat.  This pencil signed impression is the 3rd state of 4 with the edition of 25.  It was later published in state 4 with an edition of 350.  This lithograph was created and printed in 1926.  The image measures 9 1/8X6 3/4 inches.  This image is cataloged as F. 57.
