The work measures 19 1/2X12 1/2 inches. Very nice condition, rich color. This painting is framed. Orr was one of the most famous American artists in France. He worked as an illustrator for the French Army in World War I...His works are in the Louvre.

The image measures 10 1/8X13 3/4 inches. One of his best regionalist images. Much in the style of Thomas Hart Benton of whom the artist knew and worked with while at the Kansas City Art Institiute in the 1930's and early 40's. This lithograph is framed with the AAA label on the back.

This pencil signed impression was sold by Arthur Ackermann in New York. This came to us in the original Asian style frame with the Ackermann label on the back. The image measures 12 7/8X18 inches. The title of this work is: "The Large Sheepfold (La Grande Bergerie)" It was created and printed in 1859 with an image that measures 15 1/4X20 7/8 inches. One of his largest etchings. This is the second of two states with the edition of 129. This image is made up of etching and drypoint and according to the catalog there is also some burin work in the image. Printed on a wove type paper, this etching was originally sold by Kennedy gallery in New York. There was a partial label on the back. This etching is pencil signed lower right, "Ch Jacque".....

The sheet has the AAS blind stamp in the lower border and with a partial ink stamp on the back of the sheet from the American Artists School.
