Prints

A 1926 etching by the American artist, Hopper Emery measuring 9 7/8 x 7 inches, pencil signed and titled with additional provenance, written in the artists hand, on the lower margin. Emory was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had a successful career in banking before he turned exclusively to his artwork. He traveled to England where he studied at the Heatherly School of Art in London, then returned to Maryland where he became known for his delicately rendered architectural and maritime etchings.

This is an original woodblock print by American artist Albert Abramovitz.  The title is: The Wedding Dance.  This woodcut was created and printed circa 1930, pencil signed and titled.  The image measures 8X101/4 inches.  Printed on a medium weight wove type paper.

This is an original block print by Japanese artist Ini Kumo.  This image is pencil signed and dated 1961.  The image measures 14 1/2X19 inches.  Nicely framed with a Japanese label on the back.

This is an original pencil signed etching by American artist Peter Moran.  This image is titled : The Evening Hour, created and printed in  1889 this etching done on Parchment with Dog Remarque lower left was printed in an edition of 100.  A later edition was printed on a thin Japan paper.  The image measures 8 7/8X13 5/8 inches.  Copyright upper right border: Radtke, Lauckner & Co. N.Y. 1889.  The sheet is laid to a backing board and does have some glue residue at the outer edges of the sheet and some light spots of foxing in the border only.

This is a rare original designed woodengraving by American artist and reproductive engraver, John William Evans.  This image of a grove of trees at twilight is hand signed in pencil and titled lower left, "Original".  The image measures 9X7 inches.  Printed on a light weight japan type sheet.

This is an original lithograph by German artist Ludwig von Hufmann (1861-1945)  This view of the River Elbe near Pillnitz titled: Elbufer bei Pillnitz was created and printed circa 1920.  Pencil signed lower left border and numbered as 15/15.  The image measures 7X10 1/2 inches.

This is a fine woodblock print by American artist Hazel Jackson.  This wood  block is pencil signed and titled: On the Appian Way.  This was created and printed in 1935.  The image measures 8 1/4X11 inches, numbered as 8/10.
